The company i work for is giving gift certificates to all of the employees. I have been assigned to find greeting cards to go with the gift certificate. They have to be 4x7.. preffereably in a rectangle shape, not square, any ideas?? please?
May I suggest either a stationary store, Hallmark, or an Office supply store.

Here's the deal. I had purchased a gift certificate from a spa in Costa Mesa, CA worth $600 for a friend back in Oct 2006. Since then, the spa had transfered new ownership. The new owners said that they will not honor the certificate because they are not responsible for the past owners liabilities. The company name is still the same just new owners. This is a service that I had paid for and is not being met. Now I wouldn't care if it was less than $100, but it is $600 freakin hard earned money that I gave as a gift to cheer up a friend. Is there any law in California that prevents this kind of stealing from consumers. Note, my purchase was on record, you would think that someone would inform any gift holder of the new ownership changes.
contact the Better Business bureau and tell them their story, but if that company went Bankrupt, than they don't have to honor your certificate because it is a total different business, with different tax numbers.

I had a baby a few weeks ago and received a silver birth certificate holder as a gift for the baby. It's beautiful, but it has his name engraved on it and his name is misspelled! I imagine I am drawing at straws asking this, but can it be fixed?
It may be possible to attach a decorated silver tag over the name, and have the correct spelling on the tag. I would take it to a jeweler who likes to do unusual requests.
