Gas Gift Certificate

Someone told me I could do that. But whats the scenario? What, with the gift certificate i slide it in the machine to pay? Ive never seen a slot for gift certificate...?

they are prepaid gift cards (chevorn and shell both sell them) not a paper cerifitiate
you use just as you would a credit card or yiu can give the card to the attendent
and they can run it

Hi, i just read an article about staying at hotels during the summer and get discounts for gas or gift certificates for gas.

I want to buy a friend of mine gift certificates for gasoline. He and his girlfriend are very socially conscious, so I want to find a relatively good one. Which is best, in terms of responsibilities to customers, employees, investors, the world market, the environment, etc.?
Feel free to add info for anywhere in the world, but my friend lives in the US (Syracuse, NY, if anyone from around there wants to chime in).

Don't know the answer, but neither Chevron or BP are in Syracuse.

I am a college student, so I don't have a lot of money. What should I get my 21 year old computer gamer boyfriend for Valentines Day? I thought about buying him gift certificates to resturants (so he doesn't have to spend his money on his lunch break at work) or a gift certificate to a gas station (we all know about gas prices.) What do you think?

i like the idea of gift certifaves so he doesn't spend money on his lunch break!! i would love for someone to do that for me!
