Tip for a massage with a gift certificate?

My boyfriend bought me a massage/spa package for my birthday (gift certificate). The "afternoon of pleasure" includes a 1-hour massage, a manicure & paraffin treatment, a hair wash and blow dry and a light snack/beverage - value $185. What should I leave for a tip? I've never done this before and I want to be sure I tip appropriately. I wasn't sure if tipping was different when you tip on a gift certificate? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
