I am looking to print these out on card stock and place them inside the christmas card for everyone to keep. Something cute and nice, and sweet, something for people to have. This is going to family members only.
You could print bookmarks with the recipient's name,the origin of the name ( Greek,Latin, Old English etc.) and the meaning of the name. Add some interesting facts about the name such as famous people, both celebrities and historical persons, who have the same name. Or,you could print the word Christmas in a large font vertically on the left side and write a word or two about memories and favorite things about Christmas from each letter such as C... chilly nights by the fire or children's excited cries. H...home and family and so on.
Making Christmas place card holders for the table is as simple as tying two sprigs of holly together and placing a card between the berries ...
I do not really want write Merry xmas or Happy Holidays... That will be totally out of place for a person that is serving time. I'd like to write something cheerful, any ideas???
Depends who the person is. If it is not someone close to you then you should not be sending a card. If it is then you should just naturally know what will be best said to cheer them up. Some quick quips are possibly; Wishing you were here, missing you, thinking about you, its not the same without you, just wait until you get home and we celebrate, etc, etc
Do companies have priority in the mail? Credit and tax bills always arrive in time even at xmas but personal letters always seem to take 2nd place.
