Xmas Gift Card

I can't say "merry christmas" cause its already passed...What can I do - she got me a gift and dropped it off at my house. I want to do something for the kids too - is it tacky to do anything x-mas related? What else can I do for them?

As far as Christmas-themed, since Christmas has passed, why not go with something a little more "dateless" and aim for something that can be used at any time.

For the kids, pencils are useful and fun. You can have personalized pencils done through companies like Oriental Trading Company (www.orientaltradingcompany.com) fairly inexpensively. You might find other little items that would be useful there, too. They have TONS of stuff, and much of it is great for teachers to use.

For your mentor teacher, what is something that she might enjoy? A book? A nice healthy plant? Something she can use in her classroom? Does she collect something that you could add to her collection? Depending on how well you know her, your options are open, but I would again tend towards something a bit practical. Teachers, especially those who teach younger kiddos, tend to end up with a lot of cute little bric-a-brac that just ends up on a shelf collecting dust. Try to avoid that if you can. Even a coffee mug and some tea or coffee is more useful and will be better appreciated for your thoughtfulness. And it's the thoughtfulness that will be remembered, believe me.

yeah that is nice especially if she needs some money.

ok i recieved 2 american eagle gift cards but can i use them together to buy something? i got two $20 gift cards but can i use them togethrer?

Yes you can use them together or even on clearance items or with a discount card. They are the same as cash so it is like you are holding 2 $20 bills. Beware though that some gift cards expire or have fees. Merry Christmas!!!!
