Winter Cards

I am atheist, but have friends who celebrate religious holidays (Christmas included) If I send a card now, prior to Thanksgiving, saying "I hope you enjoy your winter season" does that count when I don't send a Christmas card later on?

It kind of seems to me that this could be a loaded question... and that you're almost hoping for inflammatory responses. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, if your friends celebrate Christmas, don't you hope they enjoy their Christmas? What is so wrong with that? On another token, if I were a Christian, and I hope my Jewish friends enjoy their Chaunaka, then I would go out of my way to give them a card saying so. People rejoice in what they are fortunate to have during the holidays... like love, family, and especially faith. Atheism isn't actually a "religion," it is a lack thereof, or am I mistaken? If you don't rejoice in the same way, that's cool... but wish them a happy holiday even if it's not necessarily YOUR holiday.

Any picture from nature would be appropriate.... maybe a nice sunrise for the solstice.

Edit: You are a fun troll... and you've inspired me! I'm going to make greeting cards on my computer today with a sunrise on the front and that quote inside. I'm giving them to everyone I know.

I'm working on a project and I need some winter card sayings... you know something like... "wishin you a warm winter" etc... something different...

How about some winter quotes? Those would work too... something simple...
