i'm sending christmas cards out to all my old college friends (we all live hours apart now), but i'm trying to think if there's any other extra special touch to add to the card. i wouldn't really include a photo since i don't have a family yet, so are there any other suggestions i could add to the card?
OH I GOT A GOOD ONE!!
Attach a little note with that says you want to get together, pick a date where everyone can meet, throw a $20 gift card to a restaurant in their envelopes and meet there next year. It can be like a reunion. Wow I'm good. Your welcome! (You can thank me later)
Noah Biorkman is a 5 year old little boy, dying of cancer. We should send him our love!
Want to send Christmas e-card to old friends, found some free ones from card website, when sent them out, it came out in the recipient mail left a lot of card company information, asking to go to website pick up, and following by webiste ad... Seems can't send the cards out clean, or simple copy and paste e-card in yahoo mail message. Anyone has good idea how to do? Thanks in advance.
The website ads and info are the reasons the card is free. They are not offering the service out of the goodness of their hearts - it is advertising for them with the hope you or the recipient will buy something from them after you see the ads/website.
I make my Christmas cards every year so I have to start early. This year i was thinking, who should i send a card to? Can my OBGYN get one? My dentist? The garbage man? I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable by sending them a card, please help.
Also, how should I address a widow? Mrs or Ms? and what about a 45 year old un married woman? Miss or Ms?
I would send cards only to close friends and perhaps relatives. There is nothing really "wrong" with sending a card to your doctor, dentist, or garbage collector, but I for one have never done so, nor do I believe it is customarily done. For our postal carrier, yard man, and garbage collector, we do enclose a small bonus with a note at Christmas time, but it's very informal.
i want to send a christmas card to a friends that lives in america, but i have no idea how to do it. i have her address i just dont understand the whole stamp thing, can someone explain?
Take it to the post office and have it weighed as they charge by weight and size these days. Last Postin date for Christmas delivery to USA is on Monday.

Bethsaida United Methodist Church in Brightwood, will host a community-wide benefit concert on behalf of Scott Collier and his family on Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. Collier - a native of Brightwood, a 1990 graduate of Madison High School and an avid hunter and outdoorsman - was severely injured last December when he fell 25 feet from a tree stand while hunting on the grounds of Woodberry Forest School where he had been employed as groundskeeper. Some of the injuries that he received included a collapsed lung, a torn aorta, five broken ribs, a broken right collar bone and a severe spinal cord injury. He spent 17 days in intensive care and was not expected to live. He was, at best, expected to be confined to a wheelchair. With the support and encouragement of his wife Nita, Scott has persevered. He has returned to hunting; and he hopes to return to work at Woodberry Forest next spring. But the road back for Scott Collier will be tough and it will be expensive. There is a spinal cord injury recovery center where Scott has made great progress. The funds raised at this concert on Dec. 13 will help with those expenses as well as general living expenses while Scott is unable to work. Jesse Jenkins and the Blue Valley Boys will be the featured performers and a freewill offering will be taken. Light refreshments will follow the program. For further details about this benefit concert or for directions to the church, please call the pastor Rev. Alan Follett at 672-5233.
