OUTSIDE... Christmas is a race to see which gives out first - your money or your feet.
INSIDE...
Merry Christmas, I love you,and not just for the presents
This card is for my mom and dad, home made what design do you think i should put on? I want it too be cristmasy but i cant think off anything...
yeah, the inside gretting needed help, lolz
On the inside I personally don't think that you should be putting "and not just for the presents". I would put something like "Merry Christmas, love you, and I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas."
For a decoration on the outside, I would start with a glittery border, and if they are religious, I would put perhaps some angels with a bright golden star at the top. If they aren't, you could put some Christmas trees, Christmas lights, or candles, or something else similar on it.
Good luck with the card making,
Maestro

to someone who was so racist against your own race. I am white_jewish. My friend made so much fun against Jews. She also has gossiped about me, and pretended to be my friend. She even snooped through my purse once and I caught her.
She sent me a Christmas Card emblazoned in big red letters:
Jill Jane Ph.D.
Tina Jane M.B.A.
I have not called her back in months, or kept in touch. Should I send a card? I feel she only sent one to brag who she is.
I am part Catholic and Jewish raised that way.
Forget Ms. Jane, Ch.UMP.
From how you've described this person, why would you even consider sending her a card? Why maintain contact with such an ignorant human being? Who cares if she's bragging, you know what she really is.
I would like to send them some cheer this holiday season so maybe it will take their mind off their injuries. But I have 2 questions:
1) where do I send them
2) who's injured, I haven't seen a horse race since the Breeder's Cup so I have no idea if any body got hurt.
I wonder if I can send Christmas cards to injured horses?
The organization responsible for the care of injured/disabled riders would be the Jockeys Guild. You can access their website at www.jockeysguild.com. Shevawn Moore, an administrative assistant, at the Jockeys Guild, is the person you will need to contact relative to the names and addresses of injured/disabled jockeys. Her email address is: smoore@jockeysguild.com. Thanks for your concern!
I want to buy it for christmas gift for someone who's been looking for one and can't find one. Thanks for the help.
Becketts has a book strictly for racing collectibles look at a local book store
This person is mixed race. They are Asian, Italian, and British. I would like to send them a christmas card but do not want to offend them, as I once had an Asian friend called Rucksana at college and I offended her one year by sending her a christmas card. Them again Rucksana had sent me a christmas card but she still got offended.
I am not sure if I have spelt Rucksana right.
Regardless of one's nationality, people observe different religions.
Just ask her. Plain and simple. Ask her if she celebrates Christmas or another holiday. You may then send her a card for that specific holiday (i.e. Hannukah, etc.) or a simple "Happy Winter" card.
Happy Holidays!
Plenty of activities at the library during March Break
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm going to miss the Olympics.
For the past 17 days, my family has been glued to the television watching as many events as possible, cheering Canada on. There were many golden moments for Canada but none more exciting than the last hockey game against the Americans. I'll confess that I am not, nor ever have been, a hockey fan. But you couldn't have pried me away from the television on Sunday. When the game went into overtime, I don't think I exhaled until Team Canada's Sidney Crosby scored that winning goal. There were such emotional moments throughout the Olympics this year — the highs and lows were palpable. From the fantastic opening ceremonies to the spectacular closing, Canada offered the world something to remember in 2010. Yes, I shall miss the splendour and the excitement of these Olympic Games and the great sense of pride I felt to be living in this country. It is an honour to be called a Canadian. Congratulations to all Canadian athletes.
Christmas Card Software
You could upload to Snapfish or Shutterfly. While they do charge for the cards, they are fast and inexpensive. I took a photo for my Christmas card at 3:00 one day, uploaded it and ordered my cards and picked them up at Walgreens at 8:00 that night. I didn't have to pay for print stock or ink. And you don't get much faster service. These websites also allow you to make calendars, coffee table books, etc. Check it out.
