Christmas Cards and NYC, Where to Take Photo?

My husband and I will be visiting NYC this year for the first time in early December. My questions is, where is the best place to take a picture for our holiday greeting cards? I want it to be obvious we're in New York City. Since I have never been, I don't know what will look good in photos.

I know some people hate photo greeting cards, but we love sending and receiving them. I like seeing updated photos of my distant friends and family every year.

Thanks in advance!

The tree (and skating rink) at Rockefeller Center. Radio City Music Hall. The giant snowflake at 5th Avenue and 57th Street. The "Human Christmas Tree" of carolers at the South Street Seaport. Central Park. The Empire State Building at night, lit up for Christmas with green and red lights. Holiday windows at Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, etc.

Video Christmas Card Tour of NYC

I decided to make a video Christmas Card this year instead of sending out traditional cards. I hope you enjoy it! Obviously, I left out A LOT of ...

Where can I buy a Soviet flag in New York City? ?

So my friend wants one for Christmas. & I don't know where to look.
Because of my lack of a credit card, I have to buy one with cash.
Anyone know where I can buy one in NYC?

hope he intends to burn it after or hang it upside down :) haha but yes a military store might have one

Why are my parents being so stingy on Christmas presents this year?

I usually get a lot more stuff, but this year my parents are only letting me have around a fraction worth of what it is on my list. I'm really mad, I don't think my parents love me anymore, I really hate them right now. I was yelling at my mom and I called her a "greedy bit-- "and she started crying and I said "good you deserve it, and I hate you, and I never want to talk to you again fat worthless bit--"

I think I have the right to be angry, this is all they are letting me have so far;

1)LG Eve - 1 year package [$349.99]

3)My choice of car off of the mercedes lot [Up to $ 75'000 only] *sad face*
4)Sharp Aquos 60" LCD - [$2'999]

Troll? No, I'm not a troll, my parents certianly are though.
Not joking either. My parents are rich. :D
I don't care about other kids, its about me :)
$9000 is nothing...just because you are poor I'm guessing..

Spoilt.

Against his better judgment Captain Frank attended Art Bragg's annual Christmas party. Captain Frank sat in a corner trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, when Art trapped him in one of his many tall tales. "Why yes," began Art, "even my days as a younger man were filled with adventures. That beautiful white rabbit skin and that 14 point moosehead on the wall are both from animals that I shot when I was just a lad of 12. I got them both up in Canada during my July 4th holidays. Two summers later I shot this beautiful bear you're sittin' your feet on." Captain Frank realizing that Art was just getting started, got up and said, "Art, excuse me, but I can't take your bull any longer." Why did Captain Frank say this?

Duncan Drivel had a collection of rare bird calling records which he wished to sell. He sold half of his records plus a half record more to Professor Bumble. then he sold half of what was left and a half record more to Whislin Willy. At this point Duncan had one record left. How many records did Duncan have originally?
________________________________________
Two other questions come to mind.
1. What are Professor Bumble and Whislin Willy going to do with only half a record? Is it the top half or bottom half? Or maybe the left half or the right half. And won't it destroy the record player to try to play only half a record?
2. What is the title of the record Duncan has left, and why did he keep it?
Which brings a third question to mind: Who is the biggest turkey of the bunch?

Thom Yorke releases silent song; click here to find out why this is in no way pretentious!

Sure, Thom Yorke and his Radiohead cohorts do some seemingly wacky things from time to time, but you gotta admit, they definitely know how to get the peeps's'z attentions's'z. And moreover, they usually know how to focus that attention in a positive, humanitarian direction. So when you read a headline like "Thom Yorke releases a single that's two minutes of silence," you gotta figure there's gonna be some sort of socially-conscious upshot, right? Well, here it is.
