Does anyone know where I can Get New Year's Cards Made in Tokyo?

Does anyone know where I can get new years/christmas/nengajyo cards made in tokyo? Cheap and I want to add my own digital photo. It would be even better if they would take the photo? Speaking English would be best too.
I live in Tokyo now

It is strange you live in Tokyo and don't know where to go for this?

It depends in Tokyo where do you live? and what do you mean by Made in Tokyo, it should be made in Japan. But now a days most of the stationary is from China.

As far as prices are concerned they are usually same, you can go to Loft in Chiba,Tokyu Hands in Shinjuku they are good for shopping. Photo shops and these Greetings/New year card shops are different. Photo shop could only take your photo and will put it on CD if you ask etc then later you add what ever you want. If you have a computer/scanner or printer.

Christmas Cards and NYC, Where to Take Photo?

My husband and I will be visiting NYC this year for the first time in early December. My questions is, where is the best place to take a picture for our holiday greeting cards? I want it to be obvious we're in New York City. Since I have never been, I don't know what will look good in photos.

I know some people hate photo greeting cards, but we love sending and receiving them. I like seeing updated photos of my distant friends and family every year.

Thanks in advance!

The tree (and skating rink) at Rockefeller Center. Radio City Music Hall. The giant snowflake at 5th Avenue and 57th Street. The "Human Christmas Tree" of carolers at the South Street Seaport. Central Park. The Empire State Building at night, lit up for Christmas with green and red lights. Holiday windows at Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, etc.

New Ontario Health Cards?

Apparently in Ontario they are switching from the red and white health cards to new photo ones. I did not recieve any notification about the switch. Im guessing because me and my family have been moving around alot over the past 2 years. Is there soemthing wrong? Can i still use the red and white ones? How can I get the new photo ones?
Thanks for your time. :]

This isn't "new", the picture health cards have been around for years. You are right, if you have not kept your address updated, that may be why you did not receive your notice to come in and change to a picture card. (which incidently, is something you are SUPPOSED to do-notify OHIP of any change of address within 30 days)

You can go to any OHIP office and get a picture card. What you are going to need is three things. One is proof of citizenship. This can be a valid Canadian Passport, or Canadian birth certificate. The next thing you need is an item off the list on the OHIP site which shows your current RESIDENTIAL address. Not box number. This can be a current utility bill, drivers license, school report card, insurance papers etc. The last thing you need is something off the list with your name and signature-a supporting document. (separate from those above.) If you have not used your drivers license for your address, that will have it. Your passport will also have it....some student cards, some bank cards. Watch that it is your name AND signature. Not just one...some bank cards arent putting the names on them anymore and they cannot be used.

Depending on the status of your health card, you may need more documents to prove your eligibility. If you have moved to another province or country, you may be asked to prove how long you have been back in Ontario. (even between provinces there is a 3 month waiting period) If you have moved, your card may show "returned mail" on it which raises a few questions for the OHIP people. (btw, if you get a picture card and your address is wrong with ANY correspondence with OHIP, and it is returned to them...that will VOID your card and you can't use it...so far they arent doing that with red and whites)

There is also a form you will fill out to get your health card. You can download it off the OHIP site or do it in person. (you didn't think government wouldnt have paperwork, did you?) j/k

Sounds like a pain, but it is easy once you get the original documents in order. This way someone can't pretend to be you and use your tax paying money for our health card. Red and white cards were sent to every household way back when, with very little proof needed to show they SHOULD be used by the person. I know one person who had his dog get a red and white card....so you can see why government is being stickier now. Once you do get your picture card it needs to be renewed every 3-5 years....usually timed with your drivers license. Again....because you are required to be IN Ontario for 153 days of any 12 month period, they are just checking to make sure you are still eligible.

How to add an embedded photo into an e-mail?? PLEASE HELP!?

I'm getting really frustrated with this. Google gave me different sites with complicated explanations how to do this...

strPosStart = InStr(strPosStart, strBody,"<IMG src=",1) 'This is the starting position of the img tag
strPosEnd = InStr(strPosStart,strBody,">",1) ' this is where the img tag ends.
response.write("End Pos = "&strPosEnd&"<BR>")
response.write("Doing adjustments.<BR>")
strPosEnd = (strPosEnd - 1) ' strip off the > from

Similar to that above, which I have no idea where to insert!!

Is there a simple way I can send happy new year card embedded and so it doesnt show security warnings, because I've myself received cards the way I want (showing the image without secuity warning in different e-mail accounts), but I can't do the same!

Please help! Thank you and happy new year to you too!

If you do not want to attach the image, then 1 way is to upload the picture to any image hosting sites like tinypic or imageshack . which will give you a link to the uploaded picture.
Open the image using that link and then using your mouse(click and drag) select the picture. press ctrl+c to copy and in you email body press ctrl+v to paste the image.
As long as the image is available in that hosted site, it will show up in your email.

cheers
