Our baby is due in January, so everyone already knows. I'm trying to think of creative christmas cards that do something fun with being pregnant, large tummy, etc. Any ideas?
wow - thanks so much for the great ideas! these are much better than any I found on my previous searches! :)
Good question...I'll be checking out all the answers. I am thinking of using my ultrasound photo in my christmas cards (we are due in Feb) but was trying to come up with something a bit more interesting
EDIT// you got me thinking so I went and played around in photoshop with my ultrasound pic and put a santa hat on the profile pic we got. It looks pretty cute

It's Christmas time and I love making cool cards for all my relatives and friends. I was just wondering if anyone had some fun, creative ideas (kind of 'Scrap Book, professional-looking card ideas). I have some materials, but not a ton, so ideas that don't take a bunch of fancy tools/materials would be best. Oh, and pictures would be great also, so I can see what the ideas look like. Thanx a ton!
I made my Christmas cards at CropMom (http://www.cropmom.com). You can see ideas in the CropMom gallery.
CropMom is a free online scrapbooking and greeting card creator. Just register and upload your photos to the site. Click "get started" to begin making your card. I used the 5" by 7" canvas size for my cards.
Drag and drop your photo onto the canvas. You have your choice of beautiful scrapbook graphics to drag and drop onto the canvas. You can rotate and resize photos and graphics, and you can even add your own text.
You can download the low resolution JPEG file of your layout for free to share on the Web or to email to friends.
I purchased for a small fee the high-resolution JPEG file, which allows for high-quality printed. I had my cards printed by Snapfish this year.
Hey, buffalo_mike. Haha! Good one. I can tell you must be American like me. The truth be known, no one in Australia actually likes Fosters. The most common beer is called Victoria Bitters better known as VB. The power of ads. Hahahahaha!
Your Christmas card should show Santa drinking a big mug of Foster's.

Christmas Cards – Top Christmas Card Ideas That Show You Care
A thoughtful Christmas card sent to a friend, family or a business acquaintance is one of the best ways to show that you care and that you are thinking about them even when you are not present with them physically.
Sending a beautiful Christmas card sold by the many non-profits is one way of both contributing to a good cause and also remembering your loved ones. A part of money you spend on buying these cards go towards the cause for which the non-profit is raising funds. You can choose between saving rain forests in Amazon to saving the big cats to helping animal shelters. Choose a cause that is dear to you and show your support.
Another way is to personalize the cards by having a family photograph or a new baby in the family as the subject and by incorporating a thoughtful message. This way you can update a whole lot of family and friends about your family. These photos can go into the family album of your near and dear ones.
