Can someone please help me. I'm trying to write christmas cards for my friends and I'm having difficulty. The cards need to be in Serbian since they only know Serbian, but if you only know English you can still write it Ill just translate it later.
Also I don't want to be boring and just write "Merry X-mas and Happy New Year! From your friend _______!" I would like to be more interesting, and because I hadn't written to some of them in three years. :) hehe silly me :)
U Novoj Godini želim vam manje rada i više greha,
neograničeno mnogo smeha,
puno zanimljivih poznanstava i pravih drugara,
da napravite brdo od zaradjenih para,
da se, ukoliko već niste, zaljubite do neba,
da svega imate koliko vam treba
da nosite uvek bistru glavu
i dostignete sveta najveću slavu,
da srećni provodite predstojeće dane
i da usput, onako u letu
volite sve ljude na svetu.
Srećna Nova Godina i Božić

In New Year I wish you less work and more sins,
unlimited amount of laugh,
many interesting acquaintances and real friends,
to make a mountain of earned money,
to, if you already did not, fall in love up to the skies,
to have everything as much as you need,
to have always a clear head
and reach the top of success,
to spend holidays in happiness,
and on your way, just simple
love all the people in the world
Happy New Year and Marry Christmas
Hope it'll come in handy when you try to write something different on your Christmas cards! Merry Christmas to all of you!! =)
I'm not very good at writing Christmas cards.
We've been dating for about 7 months or so.
No rhymes please : )
Please and thank you!! :D
Any answers at all? =\
he's your boyf so no one else can really tell you what to write, but as Christmas is for lots of people a time to reflect on the year thats been and look ahead to the next one, you could always thank him for a great 7 months and let him know you're looking forward to seeing him in 2009...Just dont go overboard with the 'future' talk as he could read too much into that and think you're out searching for wedding dresses!!!
He's 22 years old, but already has lots of good things going on for him. He's got a cool personality and has a career in business. What might be something funny, but not vulgar, to write on his Christmas card?
My Christmas wishes fly to you,
Like lovely snowflakes from the blue,
Spilling gently from my heart,
Falling softly through the dark,
Until they find your candlelight,
Through whispering winds that sing of night.
May peace and joy wrap you in,
Blankets of love, where hope has been.
And may your kind and gentle ways,
Be blessed with happy, peaceful days,
Becoming more beautiful with every thought,
Like every flake the earth has caught.

i cant write a poem (someone recommended that) because he will probably be ohh, look at the little girl.
At Christmas, as we look back at the year past, we hope we have learned and grown..as people, as parents and children, as family.
My wish for you is that the coming year fills your heart with happiness ..and that wonderful things come your way. I hope the New Year will be one of self-discovery and love.
(As I always say, "take the high road" when it comes to this kind of thing...being negative or blaming, just doesn't get you anywhere..be the "bigger" person..and maybe your father will learn from your example).
I am not at all close with my sister in law and not too close with my brother but they did get me a christmas gift last year so this year I got them a $30 gift card to a theatre which I will be enclosing in a card. I am completely blank as to what I should write on the card which already says "merry christmas".
and a very happy New Year!
Christmas Crime: Cyber scammers target holiday shoppers
This holiday season the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the staff at the National Association of Chiefs of Police (NACOP) are reminding the public to be on guard against cyber criminals who continue to aggressively create new ways to steal money and personal information.
Scammers use many techniques to deceive potential victims including fraudulent auction sales, reshipping merchandise purchased with a stolen credit card, and sale of fraudulent or stolen gift cards through auction sites at a discounted price.
In fraudulent auction scams, Internet criminals post classified ads or auctions for products they do not have. If you receive an auction product from a merchant or retail store, rather than directly from the auction seller, the item may have been purchased with someone else’s stolen credit card number. Contact the merchant to verify the account used to pay for the item actually belongs to you.
How to Write a Christmas Letter: Christmas Card Etiquette for ...
A personal Christmas card for every family member and loved one has become a holiday tradition for many. The end-of-the-year holiday letter is also often used to stay in touch with distant friends and update them on life’s events. However, sending out personal Christmas cards amidst all the other holiday to-dos can often be stressful. Here are a few guidelines to consider to maintain holiday letter etiquette.
Christmas Greeting Cards, Word Processed Letters, or Holiday Emails?A handwritten letter lovingly tailored to its recipient ranks at the top of the letter scale. The recipient will know that time and care was put into the letter, and cherish it all the more. However, such letters are very time consuming and letter senders may be tempted to word process their letters or send out a bulk email. Judith Martin writes in her 2005 book that an individualized email is equivalent to a standard handwritten Christmas Greeting.
