ok every year i love to make cards for a certain holiday and i can make good ones without using the internet. wat u can do is fold a sheet of paper and cut the corners off (like a octagon) than in pretty cursive writing on te front write merry christmas and write messages inside them than you can go to a.c. moore or michaels and buy some pretty decorations for christmas card or use markers crayons gliter glue and all sorts of thing to decorate the front and hn i like to put them in envelopes and decorate them too i hope you like making homemade christmas cards because i know i love doing it every yyear :))))

I want a card with his picture and I want to be able to add a Santa Claus hat image to the picture. It would be so easy if he would just leave the mini Santa hat on that I have for him but sadly he will not cooperate... as is usual for a cat. Anyway, I need directions on how to do this. I would like it to be an actual folded card so I can write on the inside or possibly print a message on the inside.
Since you don't say where you are it is difficult to give you a less generic store. So I know that Walmart is everywhere and they do photo christmas cards. Look online to see if they can add a hat to your cat. If not you could use a clip-art on your computer and add it first then upload the edited photo to order the cards.
hey, how can i make christmas cards online? i want to make some for my family

Can my husband and I take a picture at one of the walmart portrait studios and then have them put the image onto a christmas card? Or do I have to go to the photo printing center at walmart with the picture and they will do it?
Use CropMom at http://www.cropmom. It's easy!
Register, log in then upload your photo or photos to CropMom. Click the Get Started button to begin creating your Christmas card.
Click New Layout and choose the 5" by 7" canvas size, which is perfect for a greeting card. Drag and drop your photo onto the canvas. You can resize and rotate your photo. Drag and drop any of CropMom's digital scrapbook graphics onto your canvas. Like the photos, the graphics can be resized and rotated. For a Christmas theme, check out the Oh, What Fun It Is kit and the Home for the Holidays kit. You can even add your own text.
Once you've saved your layout, you can download the low-resolution JPEG file for e-mailing to friends or for posting on the blog.
But since you'll want to print your layout, you can purchase the high-resolution JPEG file for a small fee. You can then print the high-resolution JPEG file at home, or you can have it printed by a photofinisher. Snapfish and Shutterfly make beautiful greeting cards when you use a layout made at CropMom.
Would be glad if you could provide me instructions on hw to do it. I do not want websites that need me to order the cards or in simple words, pay them for the cards. thx!
By hand made I'm not sure if you mean from scratch or like creating a card yourself. In case it's the latter. You can use Microsoft Word to make a card. Just choose the page size in File->Page Setup, then split the page into two equal columns using the Format -> Columns option. Then add your text and images. You can then print it on any type of paper you want.
