I always buy horse or horse related charity Christmas cards, usually Bob Champion's Cancer Fund or Injured Jockeys Fund. However, Bob's cards are crap this year and so I thought I would try Sir Peter O' Sullevan's charitable trust ones which are very nice. However, have to send off to England for them and they are expensive when converted from dollars to pounds. Does anyone know of any good horse charity Christmas cards here in the US? Below are the ones that I will get if all else fails.

Not sure if all these offer Christmas cards, but all are good charities that benefit horses, especially rescued horses:

The following site has a ton of links to other horse charities; too many to list here. Due to time constraints, I leave it to you to search through them to find which ones offer Christmas cards as incentive to donate:

Good luck; and God bless you for caring.
White Horse Vale Lipizzans celebrates the Holiday Season with a video of long reining, driving and dressage riding. Merry Christmas!
I would like to send them some cheer this holiday season so maybe it will take their mind off their injuries. But I have 2 questions:
1) where do I send them
2) who's injured, I haven't seen a horse race since the Breeder's Cup so I have no idea if any body got hurt.
I wonder if I can send Christmas cards to injured horses?
The organization responsible for the care of injured/disabled riders would be the Jockeys Guild. You can access their website at www.jockeysguild.com. Shevawn Moore, an administrative assistant, at the Jockeys Guild, is the person you will need to contact relative to the names and addresses of injured/disabled jockeys. Her email address is: smoore@jockeysguild.com. Thanks for your concern!

we don't do christmas cards often, we just card-reply to the cards we get, lol, but this year we were thinking of making them. in the past we've just used family pictures from vacations, but we only have like 2 and they're awful. we thought it might be nice to have one of my horse dressed up christmasy (santa hat & garland or reindeer antlers & red nose) since its sort of original compared to a typical card...but is it show-offish? most people know i have a horse, but not all of the people we'd be sending cards too. i wouldn't be in the picture, just him. i thought that might make it better, not so "look at me! i have a horse!" and more "aww, he's cute" haha.
so what do you think?
Yes! It would be total Show offishness!!!
And... when you do yours, will you come over and do mine??!
Hehe, seriously, anyone who thinks you are being all snotty doesn't deserve such a cool card. I love it when cards are personalized!
I might have to steal your idea.....

I like the old Victorian London ones, like the horse and cart and fog types
I also like those ones as well. I also prefer the old fashion plain type and not the new modern cards that are just all plain gold and silver. My grandmother is english and is a painter, and she will paint and make her own christmas cards which are always of london with the snow falling and children looking in window shops at toys etc. :D

Inexpensive Photo Christmas Cards
This year, I found Pear Tree Greetings. They use 100% recycled, 100 lb matte card stock so it's a really nice, substantial greeting card. For less than what you spend in a retail store, their cards are $1.25 or less. You'll find most of them are $0.84. $0.84 per card is a great price! That certainly helps the budget during Christmas time. With this economy, there are times that I wonder how to save money, especially at Christmas when expenses can really take a big bite out of a stretched budget. Christmas cards from Pear Tree Greetings, at $0.84 each, is a definite money-saver and don't break the budget. The grandparents would love to receive one...
