Happy Christmas Cards

The person I was talking to said right after thanksgiving, but I thought earlier might be okay because some people like to have cards up for thanksgiving. Thanksgiving cards?

I'm partial to after Thanksgiving. I don't do any Christmas until after then. Thanksgiving cards are sent and I wouldn't mix the two. Things are too rushed today anyway, UNLESS, you know of a family where it's the only holiday everyone can get together.

I plan to send either Christmas or New Year cards out this year, and I would like to do something a bit different. I'd love to read about what you do, or ideas from greeting cards/letters/notes that you have received. Perhaps you have memories of how it was done by your parents or grandparents? I have a gorgeous Happy New Year card that my grandmother received in 1926, and used it as inspiration for my holiday greeting cards a few years ago.

i think that a new years cards would be great. my family were thinking instead if a christmas pictures we would do a new years theme picture instead. something different. my great and grand parents used to make ornaments with the old cards. they were awesome

Before Christmas I made cards for all my friends and family. I sent them out and now everyone's telling me I wrote happy birthday instead of Merry Christmas on every single one.

This is why my family has low expectations for me

I'm sorry but that is so funny. There really nothing you can do though. They all have the cards and have already told you about it. Just laugh it off it's really funny. Sounds like something i would have done.

Yes. I am a Christan so Christmas to me is about Christ our lord. That's why i have a Christmas tree, i send out Christmas cards, i wish people a Merry Christmas, and i open gifts on Christmas Morn. I can't believe all this! They're taking the Christ out of Christmas!!

Edit: So we can't say Merry Christmas because some people don't believe in Christ? What's next, telling me i'm required to learn Spanish because most of America's population is Hispanic?
