my teacher is making us send holiday cards to soliders in Afhanistan. I'm a Christian and don't feel comfortable being required to make Hanukkah and Kwanzaa cards since they are not be religion. Is this ok or am I just overreacting?
It's not okay. Your soldiers are fighting for you. We all have different beliefs, stop being so close minded and send the nicest card ever. If you do feel weird, you will go to hell.

...my Jewish friends? I know they don't celebrate Christmas, but when I start addressing a Hanukkah card, it makes me feel like, "Am I being a hypocrite or something?" Maybe hypocrite isn't the right word...but whatever.
Please help! (the holiday party is tomorrow, and it will look even worse if I show up with Christmas cards for the people who celebrate Christmas and nothing for the Jewish people...)
Jewish people don't celebrate Christmas, but you have to understand that Jews and Christian do believe in the same God, so you really wouldn't be a hypocrite. You're just respecting their faith.
If there's a Yahuda's House of Judaism in Singapore, then you can get it there. You can also get dreidles, latkes, and gefilte fish there. I hate gefilte fish, but to each their own.

There is no such thing as a "Christian Jew". Send a Hanukkah card. A Christmas card would be considered ignorant at best, insulting at worst.
