I am making my own Christmas cards and I have stamped Christmas ball ornaments but i want them to glitter what is out there i can use? Now mind you I have already stamped on the card and it looks great but I want them to stick out a little bit..like glitter.
You can buy sheets of double sided tape. Cut out the shape of your ball and lay it over the image on your card. Remove the backing and shake glitter over the tape. Voila! All done.
You can also use this technique and use multiple colors of glitter by not removing the entire backing. Just score it with an exacto knife where you want "white" and put white on there. Remove the remainder of the backing and put "red" there... etc.
Hope this is what you are looking for.

you can buy glitter glue. it's not messy.
i put perfume on christmas cards.
sometimes, i also love putting that confetti stuff in people's cards! that is fun!
I love playing with glitter and bought some cheap Christmas cards and have tried using glitter glue as embellishment. The cards came out terrible. I tried squirting the glue straight out of the tube and it came out too thick and the constant squeezing hurt my hand. I tried spreading it on thin using a clean make up applicator. That looked even worse and the card dried wrinkled like wet paper. Regular elmers glue and dry glitter goes on too thick for what I want. Old Christmas cards from around the 70's, or earlier, used to have a light, thin, coating of silver glitter that looked beautiful. The glitter was very fine, and you could see the card detail under it. How can I get the same effect? I would love to hear any advice on this. Thank you so much.
I like spray adhesive but it is very hard to control on paper and card stock because you have to block off where you don't want the glitter and the air that comes out blows away paper blockers. I found the UHU glue is light enough as to not warp the paper and will still hold the glitter as well as the fact that you can get the one that has a broad applicator on one end and a fine pen like one on the other. Another tip is to spray your work with work fixative so that the glitter stays put and the fine glitter won't transfer to hands or anything else when handling.

ohh cool how about making a collage of pics with you and your friends. try to make it like a pop up book.to create this, search how to make a pop up book on google. you can make subtitles with the glitter like best friends etc. also if your friend has bought you like a teddy bear or something be creative and like take a pic of that or you can even draw it. anyway good luck
merry xmas!
Personally I like to spend a little more money and send a classy cute card then a cheap looking one.
Of course I look for sales.
I do this cause I like receiving them.
I also like to put glitter in my cards, ( just a little)
I use an online service. I absolutely love it. They mail all the cards for me after I design them. I can even put my own signature and picture in it. It's so fun and speeds up the process. It use to take me 5 hours to do my Christmas cards and now I can do them in 1 hour. I send a lot of cards.

Bells and Boughs Christmas Card | Andrea Walford, Stampin' Up ...
Today I thought I’d change track a bit and share with you a Christmas Card. You’ll probably notice over the next couple of weeks (at least until Halloween) I’ll probably be jumping back and forth with the themes of my projects. This card is actually one I created last month for the Artist in You online class to demonstrate the use of new products or accessories. One of the themes in the class was the necessity of stepping out of your comfort zone in order to develop your creativity. One of the challenges was to use a new product or accessory that the person had never used before. That’s why I chose to use Champagne glass glitter and gold waffle paper. I had purchased both products on the first day of pre-order for the Holiday Mini Catalogue, but had not touched them (at the time I made the card, I had owned those two products for just over a month and a half). One of the reasons I had not used them is because I was a bit intimidated by them – I had never really used anything like them before, and wasn’t really sure how to use them (in the case of the waffle paper). So, I just kept putting off using them. Once I tried them though, I have to say that they have become some of my favorite products in the Mini! Place SNAIL adhesive at the back of the 2 1/2″ image circle. Cut two 1″ wide strips of gold waffle paper. Begin pleating the paper and sticking it to the SNAIL adhesive at the back of the CS circle. One 1″ strip will not be enough. Once you have finished with the first strip, begin the second strip so that the end is hidden behind the first strip. Continue pleating the second strip and sticking it to the SNAIL adhesive. Once you have covered the whole perimeter of the CS circle, trim off any remaining waffle paper. If you haven’t already signed up, it’s not too late! In this fun class you’ll get to make 6 fantastic projects – 2 cards and four 3D items – themed for fall, Thanksgiving (the US Thanksgiving) and Halloween. Each project will feature a downloadable pdf handout as well as a video on how the project was made. The Classroom will remain open until January 31st so you’ll have plenty of time to access the class materials.
