The best gift I ever bought my super-hard-to-buy-for fiance (then boyfriend) was last Christmas I got him a brain!

It's a to-scale model of a human brain that comes apart into 8 pieces. I had to special order it from a University bookstore, but it was worth all the trouble. He LOVED it! It's sitting on our mantel as I type this ... eventually he plans to bring it work to sit on his desk.

PS: he is working on his PhD in computational neural science, so he really appreciated it as a research tool, an education tool for his students and to show off to his research lab!

I gave him his gift and.....?

I gave a guy I like his gift for xmas because he was going east to be with his family for the holidays.....so I got him an e-gift card for an electronic store he really likes(i had no idea what to get him)anyway he already left and I sent it to his email yesterday. So I get an email from him today saying(word for word) ''u didnt have to,'cause u caught me off guard and I didnt get u anything(i didnt know u would get me anything..because u dont celebrate x-mas),but i found what I want there online but I still need 20 dollars to cover the rest of the cost...ttly..c ya..love ya.''!! For some reason I was surprised that he didnt say thank you and that he told me he still needs 20 dollars more then what i gave him(the card was for $150)...For some reason I expected more from him..we both really like each other. So my question is are most guys aloof about stuff like this......and how should I take or respond to his email...Thankx everyone and happy holidays
we have known each other for a more then a couple of months....hes 24
what should i say to him if i should say anything at all?

well it seems like...he didnt really appreciate it?
but 150 dollars is ALOT to spend on a friend...
so he should be HAPPY u spent that much!
he prob is thankful for it, just doesnt know how to say it...lol
he is using it, mayb just mentioning that he found something he likes...
he should pay the freaking 20 bucks himself! that'd be so rude to ask for another 20 bucks whenu give him so much.

Many people resort to just the sending of an e-mail at Christmas but it is not the same as opening that envelope and finding that beautifully planned Christmas card inside. Give your friend’s family and even business associates the gift of having a real card this year. Many traditions are going by the wayside don’t let the Christmas card disappear as well.

Sending Christmas cards does not have to be a task. There are so many alternatives now to choose from and you can select the kind of Christmas cards you want based on the intended recipients.
