I know it's a little corny, so give me ideas!
It’s our first Christmas spent as one,
A married couple, destined for fun,
Celebrating Jesus’ birthday together this year,
Is making it just all the more dear,
Hoping your holidays are cheery and bright,
Full of presents and family delight,
Looking forward now to 2010,
And cherishing our moments until then.
Wow I wish I would have had that for last Christmas, it is gorgeous and so sweet, I really like it!!!

I already got my present this year. ;)
Want to get a feel on what people like most????
please state your opinion on all three if you have the extra time!
my personal thoughts
xmas cards - love them cute and look good on the wall!
Newsletter - i'm a crappy friend i never know what's going on in everyones life I LOVE these things it's a nice thing to read while sipping on some hot coco!
Photocard - always cute but a tad selfish/ annoying! but still sort of cute!
Your thoughts?
None of the above, if they're not going to bother to put a personal message on it. I have relatives who waste a stamp every year on a dumb card that just says, "Merry Christmas!" all generic on it. I absolutely LOATHE those stupid newsletters because it's like, why do I care that little Timmy made first chair violin or Susie got accepted to Brown? If you're just going to print off a form letter to brag about your kids, save a stamp by not sending me one, thanks very much. As for photo gift cards, I think it's rather presumptuous of parents to truly believe that anybody besides them cares about receiving a picture of their kids in holiday finery. I have vowed never to do photo cards when I have children. My absolute least favorite thing of all is a photo card of someone's pet, especially if that pet is wearing a stupid outfit or hat. I love my bulldog more than life itself, but I wouldn't put a photo of him on a card and mail it out to anyone, because then I'd qualify as a bona fide Crazy Dog Lady.
This year I sent out regular Christmas cards, and I put a heartfelt, personalized message on each one. It took me days to get all of them done, but at least it means something.
tomorrow I will take all her gifts for her to open and just leave the webkinz (wrapped) here. She really wants one and we have 3 computer at our house. My idea was to give her a cute xmas card to her from Santa. I need help finding what to say inside to let her know Santa Claus dropped a gift off for her and it's waiting for her. Any ideas?
If you wanna go the Santa route, just say something like "oops, I forgot one present for you but your grandma and I are old friends so I'll just drop it by her house later"
Hope it helps :)
I am looking to print these out on card stock and place them inside the christmas card for everyone to keep. Something cute and nice, and sweet, something for people to have. This is going to family members only.
You could print bookmarks with the recipient's name, the origin of the name ( Greek,Latin, Old English etc.) and the meaning of the name. Add some interesting facts about the name such as famous people, both celebrities and historical persons, who have the same name. Or,you could print the word Christmas in a large font vertically on the left side and write a word or two about memories and favorite things about Christmas from each letter such as C... chilly nights by the fire or children's excited cries. H...home and family and so on.
Weekend Fashion Update
They'll start out showing you what to get your friends. They've got platinum, gold, and silver options so you have something to get every friend at every price point.
A perfect idea for our platinum gift card is a day at the spa with the girls. Take a load off and then even get the benefits after you go home.
If you can't quite afford the platinum option, but still like the idea of a spa day with the girls, why don't you have one at home? You can still get the same benefits with some fabulous at home products, which you can all get with gift cards for your friends.
Another great gift idea is loungewear. It makes any girls' night in so much more fun to have cute pajamas.
Keeping Up with the Joneses: 10 Month Appointment and Tacky Christmas!
First off, happy 10 month birthday Anne Wesley! We went for her check-up this past Wednesday, and it was by far our best visit to the doctor. She was up to 16 lb 5 ounces which I am proud to say, puts her back on the weight scale!!!! She got her blood taken and got a flu shot and amazingly she smiled through both-no tears! She is at such a fun stage right now where she will interact readily and give out lots of smiles! AW has also learned to shake her head no when she is put on the changing table or buckled into her car seat. She is babbling non-stop and even said "dog" last weekend when she was visiting Papa and Pat Pat. Blowing bubbles is a favorite past-time along with getting a work-out...
