Can you please help me with the wording on our company Christmas card - stormy season in oilfields!?

I am in charge of designing our company Christmas cards and the boss wants me to use an old photo a friend took of a oil rig being blown down by a wind storm. We wanted to say something in regards to the stormy season in the oilfields, since everyone is experiencing the financial crisis especially those of us who work in oil and gas. Something to the effect of "We wish you a happy holiday and hope that your company will weather this stormy time in the oilfields". - I know you can help me do better than that :)

"Even the worst storm passes, bring with it sunny days again. We wish you merry holidays, with the hope of better times ahead."

Company Christmas card message?

I am looking for a nice phrase to write as a personal greeting to our clients. We are a very small company (only 2 of us) who are rather close to the clients that would be receiving these cards. The pre-written message says:
"With warm thanks for your business and sincere wishes for a happy holiday season"

I just want something to finish it off and make it a little more personal. Any suggestions?

We wish you the best this holiday season, and thank you for your business. Happy Holidays, (company)

How do I write in a christmas card that the company won't give them any present and make a donation instead?

How do I write in a christmas cards for clients that the company won't give them any present and make a donation on their behalf instead?

Be careful about making a donation to a charity on a client's behalf. For one, not everyone supports every charity. There are even some cancer charities that some people won't support because they test on animals. You risk isolating your clients by putting their name on a charitable donation they don't believe in. You should make it clear on the card that the donation has not been made in their name, but in lieu of a gift. Write something like, "In the holiday tradition, a donation has been made in honor of our clients to NAME OF CHARITY."
Best of luck. I think many if not most of your clients will be happy to not have another gift basket or trinket to clutter their desk.

"The first commercial Christmas cards were commissioned by Sir Henry Cole in London, 1843, and featured an illustration by John Callcott Horsley. The picture, of a family with a small child drinking wine together, proved controversial, but the idea was shrewd: Cole had helped introduce the Penny Post three years earlier. A batch of 1000 cards was printed and sold for a shilling each." quoted from Wikipedia

What would be the correct way to address a Christmas card to a company you work for?

Should I address it to the owner of the company or just put all Linden Transport Employees?

The envelope address should be the name of the company. The inside greeting should read "To My friends at (XYZ) company" or "To Mr. Boss and all at (XYZ) company"

  • Bank of America Credit-Card Chief Struthers Sees Losses Peaking

Nov. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Bank of America Corp. , battling the highest credit-card loss rate among the biggest U.S. lenders, expects write-offs to peak this quarter unless unemployment rises more than forecast.

“Most people think that charge-offs will be peaking right about now, in the third and fourth quarters,” Ric Struthers , president of global card services, said in an interview today. “That’s a realistic view.”

Bank of America wrote off $14.3 billion of card loans as uncollectible this year through Sept. 30, about 76 percent more than the same period last year. Card defaults typically track the U.S. unemployment rate , which reached 10.2 percent in October. Struthers didn’t specify a target for the jobless rate; the most pessimistic forecasters among 60 economists surveyed by Bloomberg call for an 11 percent peak in the middle of 2010.

Corporate Christmas Cards not for the Timid: Business Corporate ...

, Will surely appeal to those who are not interested in sending season’s greetings cards in the traditional colors of red, green, or gold.

This design is a very striking, sophisticated card. The golden snowflake of course stands out on the black background, but it is the “Happy Holidays” sparkling sentiment in the gold refractive foil that really makes this card pop! Any organization that sends this as their corporate holiday cards is sure to make a statement…and that statement will be that they are hip, modern, and a class act all in one!

, is also an eye-catching card. At first glance you would think that it is just a very ornate silver snowflake. But take a closer look at the snowflake in the center of the card and you will see that within the snowflake the words “Season’s Greetings” are shining back at you at every turn…a very unique idea! The sparkling silver foil on the deep, almost midnight blue background is quite dazzling. Again this card is not for everyone. So if you don’t want to stand out but would rather have your holiday cards blend in with all the other business Christmas cards your clients and customers will receive, this card is not for you.
