Classic Christmas Cards

We have a secret santa gift exchange in our class and I wanted to buy and make something . So I thought if I made a greeting card then i'll end up saving a few bucks. Our budget is only $5-$10 so it is sorta tight.I am giving this gift to a tomboy in a class filled with tweens . I was thinking classic christmas but I wanted to consider her tomboy style and also make it fun or funny.

This way, you save your budget to buy them something that doesnt get put into a box, find out what she's into, you know she's a tomboy so thats a good start....

Wow your lucky, yes I think you'll be able to get one it also depends on your area. If you can you also might wanna try pre-ordering. For me I have to wait after Christmas since my mom is not convinced enough to buy me one. GET Zelda :)

Ok so I know its early but I've decided on what I'm getting family and friends for Christmas. What do you think? Not going to say exactly what they are e.g. perfume name in case they do happen to find this lol.

-Mom - Perfumed body lotion and shower gel gift set
-Dad - Book on classic cars and a chamois leather
-Sister - Jewelry
-Boyfriend's family - Box of chocs
-Friends - Have decided to go out for a meal this year because we've all started university so don't see everyone as much and limited on money to spend so thought it would be a good idea to all go out together. Plus I'd make them christmas cards.
-Boyfriend - Annual and comic from the year he was born (of the comic he likes)
Dvd boxset, another dvd, cd, freeview box and a sterling silver plectrum with an engraved message on the back.

So any other ideas? Or is that good?

I have a JCPenney Classic Credit Card, I got it over a year ago. I was going to use it for Christmas Gifts but did not need to.. I dont think it is actaveted yet will that hurt my credit ???? I have other credit cards that I do use. I was just woundering if not using this one (store card) will hurt my credit or credit score..

No, not using it won't affect you one way or another. Since it's a line of credit that you could potentially use, it is attributing to your current score, though. I would call the card services on the back of the card though because if you don't activate a card and it just sits around with no balance, the company may close it out.

I got 2 pairs of pants, a fancy shirt, several pairs of underwear (thanks, mom), an Al Franken book, an iPod car charger, a Payless gift card, toe-socks, Union Jack boxer shorts from London, 4 Doctor Who buttons, the DVD "Grandma's Boy", and... that's all, so far. I'll be getting one more later.
