Christmas Tree Ornaments

I've been making hand-sewn felt Christmas ornaments to hand out as gifts, and possibly sell. So far I've been making Christmas Trees with beads sewn on it, a Rudolf Reindeer, a Snowman, and other misc. ornaments that aren't characters. But I thought it would be cute to come up with a gimmick of characters or something that are each related in some way. So people might prefer to own the whole collection of them... Idk how well I'm describing what I mean, but if you have any suggestions, please let me know?

You could make all the reindeer from 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' movie, and sew on some cute accessories on each reindeer to make them different. (eg, dancer gets a little tutu, etc.)
They could be attached to a little sleigh pulled by Santa ^.^

You could make little elves and presents and such xD

That would be really adorable :D

I want my kids (ages 7 and 4) to make our Christmas tree ornaments this year. I have no idea on how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

They have some awesome ideas and workshops at places like Garden Ridge Pottery, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc. One of our favorites is this: buy clear balls (i think they are plastic) and several colors of acrylic paints. You start by squirting a thin line of paint into the opening of the ornament so that is runs down in a line inside (not too much paint). Do this 2 or three times with different colors (space your 'stripes' a little away from each other) Then set the ornament aside and turn it a quarter turn every 15 mins. The paint will start to move and blend and makes awesome patterns and marbling effects. It is so cool and your kids will be so proud. Be careful though, this is addicting. God Bless.

looking to make some really cool christmas ornaments for my tree,please keep in mind i have four teenagers so the age appropriate craft should be taken in consideration....thanx all....

michaels sells these glass ornament things
you should get those
and some paint
put drops of different colored paint into the glass ornaments
then let it dry
you could add glitter
then put a small picture inside the globe
the secure the ornament

I know after Christmas they get marked down a lot so I'm going to wait until then to buy a lot more but I would like to atleast buy bulbs, lights, and ribbon for my tree before Christmas but don't want to spend a whole lot since I want to save my money for buying gifts.
