Christmas Holiday Card

My son is delivering holiday cards this weekend to his friends in our neighborhood. He is friends with kids who are Muslim - should they also receive a card? I think so but don't want to offend them if it's inappropriate.

Call your local Mosque, and ask them what is appropriate.After all, you don't want to offend them, it might start a neighborhood riot.

How many Holiday (Christmas ) cards will you be sending out this year ? Will it be more than last year or less ?

On the front there's a picture of Bush in a suit, looking serious and the words:

Anyway, Muslims think of Jesus as a prophet right? Would it be totally inappropriate to send the card?

Na he will like it and if he has a sense of humor he wont care if its a holiday card

yes, it means i have family and friends thinking about me.
what i don't like is if they just sign there name at the bottom
of the card, without addressing the top. (dear mary, etc)

Obviously, if someone is an atheist, Christmas has no particular significance. It's just another day. So, what do you think about an atheist sending out holiday cards?

Do you think it's disingenuous for them to use this time of the year to send out greeting cards, considering this time of year is nothing special to them?

It isn't just another day to most western civilizations. There is a whole other side to the Christmas holiday, the secularized side. I'm sure you're familiar with it and I have a feeling you participate in it!
