Mulvane Merriment has begun with a silent auction of works donated by 19 regional artists. Limited-edition glass ornaments also will be for sale in the Mulvane Art Museum, S.W. 17th and Jewell on the Washburn University campus. The live Mulvane Merriment event will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, including being part of the First Friday art walk, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Visitors to the museum will find jewelry, clothing, art work and holiday pieces on sale and can get a box lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bidding closes at 2 p.m. Saturday. Mulvane Merriment is a benefit for the Mulvane Art Museum and sponsored by the Mulvane Women's Board. Information: 272-5850.
