I can't stand cards with glitter all over it, can't get rid of the stuff very tacky.
i hate the "christmas peace and joy" from the religious clan
A Christmas message to all my YouTube fans and even for those who can't stand me (Hey it's Christmas), Gentile and Jewish alike, and for ...
Just recently I told a friend that I can't stand another insincere Christmas card...no more! I get a phone call that day from http://www.christmasecheer.com saying someone sent me a message and it started sing "We wish you a Merry Christmas!" -- I loved it, anyone else experience my dilema and been shocked by these new free services like christmasecheer.com ?
No. i don't really know anyone
I have been asked by a company to come up with a wierd and wacky and innovative idea for a company christmas card - something different that will stand out - any ideas??
I work in reprographics, and there are some great idea's tobe done, but first of all, what sort of company? are you aiming tobe witty? or more creative, e-mail me on aidan_hart@hotmail.com or add me to on msn I'll happily help you with some idea's n the design, n you can take the credit n look kewl at work lol
My husband and I are sending cards to our extended families, and I thought it would be cute to add something to each card just to make them stand out in the sea of christmas cards! I was thinking just something small like a bookmark or something...
any ideas?
I'm a Christian so i would put in each card a Christian tract, explaining about Jesus and salvation, they are free from any baptist church.
I don't know why I feel this way, because I know that the sender did not have to send me anything at all, but when I get one in the mail, and I see their fake forced smiles and annoying matching outfits, I want to puke. They seem like a mass mailing, especially when they use mailing labels and no hand signature. (yeah, yeah, I know they're a time saver.) Also, I can't stand the Holiday Family Newsletter. I think they are obnoxious and arrogant. Maybe because I came from a dysfunctional family myself. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? Am I the only one who feels this way? Thanks.
I'm with you ss! I really abhore the picture perfect christmas cards! My husband's family always does this. It's so annoying to me too. I think most people who do this really are egotistical and into themselves. They really think they have the perfect family, why else would they pose and send these photos to eveyone they know?! I despise this little ritual as well as the family newsletter! Who the hey cares what's gone on with your family during the year! Give me a break!
Plastic Kettles
Salvation Army kettles equipped to take donations by credit and debit card.
“There could be less jingle in the Salvation’s Army’s hallmark red kettles this season,” Kristen Wyatt reported for the Associated Press:
The charity is testing kettles that take debit and credit cards.
The growth of so-called “ plastic kettles ” comes as fewer shoppers carry cash. Bell ringers who stand outside stores during the holiday season say that more and more shoppers are shaking their heads and smiling as they pass by, apologizing for not having spare change or cash to drop in the red kettles.
Stand Out Autos: Mike Mussina « Shot Not Taken
I just traded for this autographed Mike Mussina card which would be a Christmas present for a very good friend who I owe a lot to. He is not a collector but he is a huge Yankees fan and his favorite player is Mike Mussina so I think he will love the card.

I hate the Yankees but I always respected Mike Mussina. He comes across as a professional and I can’t think of one bad thing to say about him. I assume the person who I traded with got this TTM. This is a person I trust so I am pretty sure it is legit. The reason why this is stand out auto is Mussina is one of the few autographs that you can read nowaways and it is always a plus that he seems to be willing to sign TTM .
