I like to design a Christmas card in double sided, but I don’t know how to design the back side, in all graphic design programs are options just for page size, and you can work just on the front side, what about the other side? I use of Xara Xtreme to design files. Does it need a special printer to print the file?
Anyway if there is any option to design double sided in Xara Xtreme or Photoshop , please guide me.
Thank you
this programs you can do this.. but do you not have the publisher (it is in office package like word, excell) ? it is much easier to do this... and you have all you need in minutes... is very simple... you dont need a special printer, ok?
From www.mistletoegreetings.com. I created a image of Santa Claus for a series of Christmas cards.
I would like to create my my own Christmas Card for 2010 but have no idea where to begin. Are there sites out there that will allow me to use images to go on my cards? Do I pay royalties? Once I find an image do I put it on a disk to take to the printer or is this something I can send electronically? I am so lost when it comes to this. Please help me understand! Thank you!

Royalties? - depends on the terms - if you were intending to sell or distribute other than to friends and family, then sorting out the legalities would be essential - actually, many of the resources you can use for free may exclude commercial use.
One thing to watch is "Creative Commons" licencing, not sure if putting a picture on a card is a "derivative work" in the context of that licence, which is seen a fair bit in "free - but" situations in various forms, as there are individual points which can be chosen, "no derivatives" being one of them.
I went to make my mom a christmas card because I was gonna put money in it but the printer ran out of ink and I had made a beautiful card! Both my parents are mad because I didnt buy her anything but I was going to give her money because I didnt know what to buy her!
I went to print out her card and half came out in color and the rest came out ugly!
If you have saved card then replace the ink and do it again.
Any information on websites, printers, special papers, stores...I've created my images and pictures using Adobe Photo CS3.Thank you!!
I have used bluemountain.com.... I like it a lot.
Any helpful ideas on what I can do to make an awesome christmas card for a girl that i like by tomorrow? I can't find any crepe paper or coloured paper around the house, and my printer is out of coloured ink so... :S Would making it on white paper be a good idea? What pictures and stuff should i draw on it and should i colour it in? Or how should i decorate it? ahh please help!
Christmas is still about a month away. But here's a few ideas for you. If you have any markers, crayons, colored pencils, that would make the card stand out. If there's magazines lying around your house go through them and cut out some pictures of things she likes, christmas pics, or anything that you think she would like. If you really want to make more than a card you could make her a little book, using a hole puncher and string. If you can draw than go for the drawings, or maybe trace over pictures so it looks realistic. Do you have any sisters? Cause if you do maybe she has some "crafty" items that you could use. You could find a few poems, jokes, etc. to put on there. If you know her birthday than write her horoscope for the month of December, her numerology, and you could even sneak your horoscope in there as well. Good Luck!!

In conjunction with the Needham Community Council’s Holiday Outreach Program or Toys for Tots, enlist your child’s abundant energy to look through catalogs, mailers, and online sites for a toy that would be a good donation for another child of the same age and gender for Chanukah or Christmas. Go out together (or sit down at the computer together) to purchase and donate a toy to a child in need. Discuss with your child that you are donating a toy to someone who may not have a chance to receive any gifts otherwise. You may be surprised to hear your child offer to use their piggy bank stash toward the cost. To donate toys to the Needham Community Council’s Holiday Outreach Program, call their office at 781-444-2415. The Needham Community Council also accepts donations of new clothing items, toiletries, books, hats, or gloves that could be distributed to elderly residents. Toys for Tots donations of new, unwrapped toys may be delivered to the Needham Central Fire Station on Chestnut Street during normal business hours.
