“Christmas gift suggestions:
To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect.” - Oren Arnold

May your each day be bright with Happiness,Success and Joy!!! White Christmas-Dean Martin I'm dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones ...
My Wife and I just had our second daughter this past year and I thought OK GO's "Here it Goes Again" would be cool but the lyrics are iffy. I need a song that is catchy and upbeat but good for grandma. Last year we used Switchfoot's "I Dare You to Move." I'm not really interested in Christmas music because the pictures are from all year long.
Any ideas?
Maybe You can try:
Awakening-Switchfoot
Meant to Live-Switchfoot
More than Fine-Switchfoot
Life, Love,and Why-Switchfoot
We are one tonight-Switchfoot
Adding to the Noise-Switchfoot
Learning to Breathe-Switchfoot
I think all of these will be perfect songs!!! check them out! you probably like at least 1 of them. Good Luck!
I ♥ Switchfoot!!!
It starts something like this ,"more than candy canes or christmas cards or caroling out doors more than shopping malls or decked out halls or shiny lit up stores........long ago he came to show the world a brand new way .......let him be our hope today."I think i'ts a kids song probably kids sung it too,i dont know but i really want to find the lyrics.
GO TO www.lyrics.com and find the name.
Its a funny version of "The 12 days of Christmas". I think it's a parody of "All in the Family".
Some of the lyrics are...
rigging up the lights!!
and..
you hoo! sending christmas cards!
umm....help? I want to buy it on itunes or if theres a video of it on youtube....
thanks!

I know this should be in the lyric section, but that section isn't very active.
We are a rock band,
with a much like this style...

The lead singer is a male, turns out I am the only female.. but whatever, the point is i have to write from a male perspective (which is HARD) The reason I write is because the guys can't even write a decent christmas card to grandma.
Its basically about this girl he knew that acted like everything was fine but deep inside she had alot of problems, likthat'secret drug addiction.. and he was the only one who could see it because he loved her at the time. Now he doesnt really like her because of her choices and judgment. But thats what this song is about...
Chorus:
I need something here.. preferable 2-4 lines..
You’ve got this store bought way
Of saying you’re okay
But I think it shows in a shade of red,
The frayed tangle of wires
Inside your head
Verse:
When you slide your feet
You create your own shock.
Need about 5-10 lines here...
I'm sorry, naturally i would ask the band members, but they are all sleeping, and I need to get this done.
And thanks to all the answers :)
If there are any questions post them and i will be sure to -edit- the question.
Oh and what I have for the verse can definitly be changed up a bit, i'm not sure if I like the shock part..
The chorus though, i am quite attatched to.
