I saw a kit on Create and craft called "Land of dreams - Christmas wonderland" I bought the other version which was called Fairyland fantasy but now I regret not buying the Christmas version. I have asked Create and craft and they don't expect to get it back in stock in the forseeable future. I have googled both "Land of dreams" and "Christmas wonderland" but neither find anything related to this card kit. I assume these are the names given to them by C & C
I am positive Create and craft are not the only people in England to have this product but how do I find it without knowing who makes it? Or which company distributes it?

There are classes from time to time in my home town and there's a lady who does drawing on Tuesdays on the other side of the lake, so I will start that in December. I want to order a kit but wonder about any books sold online, kits, classes, organizations, etc. My husband likes to write poetry and I thought it would be nice to try writing it for him as well as designing Christmas Cards. I have thought about designing my own line of cards and selling them at arts and crafts fairs as well as through stores in the area but I want to test-market them first and do some research. I might do special orders of packages or sell them in standardized dozen packages at flea markets.

seems to have a little of everything you spoke about: getting started, online learning, free tutorials. Also lots of links to go deeper and further with calligraphy.
Hope it's what you wanted.
Note: Search criteria was the word calligraphy. It brought up numerous sites. The one I listed here looked to me to be closest to answering your question...

I sent her a hickory farms sausage kit last year. You know the ones with sausage, cheese, mustard, and those little strawberry candies.
I never received anything from her, like a card or thank you note. I did use delivery conformation and found it was delivered. It cost me an extra fiftey cents.
Do you think she will keep me in mind this year?
you are surely associated with a lot of wierdos .aren't you........??
you should have sent her the link of ''euthanasia''..(in your previous question)....that would freak her out..........and turn her to a full psycho (now she's a half)
you are one wierd chick...you know that??....show yourself to a psychiatric.........
Okay so my one friend told me all she wanted from me for Christmas was red moon sand. It was only $3.98 so I also bought her a pedicure kit. My other friend though never told me what she wanted so I bought her blue moon sand and bought her two lip glosses. Then for my first friend I added in a candy cane and bracelet and for my second friend I added a candy cane and two different types of head phones. They already got Christmas cards, is this whole gift they're getting each kind of cheesy or what? I don't know!!
Also I only had $30 dollars to spare so I was kind of pressured in pricing since I babysat the night before and got totally ripped off.
They sound fine to me. You don't have to spend a ton of money on christmas for a friend for it to be a good gift.
i'm sure they will love it. Me personally love little cheap nick knacks and love it when I have a friend get me one ecspecailly if they have my fave color or somet design or something I really like on it.
I work in an office and I got 3 bottles of wine, a tool kit, a stuff animal and a leash for me dog(what is wrong with people)? perfume, and a gift card.
Dunkin Donut Coffee (grounds), Gift card to Best Buy ( I bought a nice headset for my mp3 player) and thats it so far.

Local Greeting Cards Are Helping Troops at War
Two years ago Dianna Putnam began Totally4Troops (T4T), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Army soldiers and their families with handmade greeting cards. It started with about 12 or 13 people making greeting cards to send to soldiers so they could have cards to send home to family members.
“To this day there are no greeting card stores in Iraq, certainly not in Afghanistan, which is our biggest destination now, and not in Kuwait either,” Putnam said. “This was an opportunity to provide cards for those men and women who wanted to send a card home to family and friends.”
More and more groups have joined T4T. Word spread, people were telling sisters and friends in other states who were also scrap bookers and card makers and T4T now has more than 200 card makers, she said.
