Christmas Card Display

I want to display my christmas cards but I don't want to tape them to the woodwork does anyone have any ideas that would be safe to the walls and woodwork?
Also, anyone have any good craft ideas for last years cards?

The best option I've seen is to hang a piece of string like a laundry line near a wall then dangle or clothespin the cards to that. To avoid putting tape on the walls, you can use either poster putty or the 3M temporary hangers / hooks.

For last year's cards, the only craft I've seen is one my kindergartener's class did -- they made placemats. They take a large sheet of construction paper, put cards or pieces of cards all over it, then cover both sides with clear contact paper. It's not really an adult thing, but maybe it will help you out.

This is my husband and I's first Christmas in our home. I've been very crafty lately by making most of our decorations. I'm trying to figure out a cute way to display our Christmas Cards and haven't found anything that I really liked. Any Ideas? Thanks!!

This really isnt "crafty" but Ive always used scotch tape to tape my cards around the doorway. By the time I receive them all, the whole doorway is filled with cards and it looks really neat when you come into the house.

Does anyone have any really good tips on displaying Christmas cards that saves space and is simple but secure?

i get some gold thread and string it above the fireplace, across the walls etc and then secure my cards on with little gold pegs.
last year i bought my pegs from Woolworths!!

My mother used to hang string from the walls and place the cards on them. They used to get well over 50 a year.

Where do you display your Christmas cards?

I hang them on my window to the left of my computer so they are right here by me. Then after it is over with, I put them in a memory scrap book.

I'll get about 100 christmas photo cards from friends and family over the next month. What is a creative and attractive way to display them in my home? Most of the cards are flat, like a large post card. My house is very small.

Well, I always put our cards up on our fireplace mantle with some decorations...I do that for every holiday. We don't get 100 cards though, that many cards up there would look tacky.

If you don't have a fireplace, maybe find another type of ledge to put them on? You dont really need to display all of them, do you?
