I need some craft/card ideas for table time.
(Fyi, Table time is when me and my children, and husband, sit at the table, Do crafts, and talk about our day and just relax and have fun ;))
We send cards and stuff to my In-laws and I was wondering, what kinds of things we can do.
This year I was thinking of showing my oldest, how to sew.
Any ideas along the lines of sewing? :S
Thanks a bunch♥ You guys are a big help :)
To send to my in=-Laws*
Here is a great site for projects to do with the kids:

An easy sewing project would be stockings, like on the above site.
Make a pop out christmas card with this easy to follow video with Leona from Artists Resource! See www.artists-resource.co.uk for more information.
I'm in Bangkok, Thailand, on student Exchange and I want to make christmas crafts for my friends in school. Since they don't really celebrate christmas, it'd be like exchanging cultures. What's a cute little craft I can make them? (there are 49 students) example: a little santa or a card or something.
websites would be helpful.
What a great idea!! I found a few websites. There's lots of great ideas in the last website!

I have a lot of old X-mas cards sent to me every year, they are so beautiful I hate to just throw them away espessially since those people took the time to send them, a rare thing these days... But I need some cute ideas for crafts. I already know about the oranaments, picture frames, gift tags, and gift wrap, thanks to google. I need more ideas. Please Help Me.
Some horse riders sew their ribbons and rosettes won from horse shows onto quilts and cushion covers, and they look FANTASTIC. I know cardboard/paper from Christmas cards isn't quite the same or as flexible to use as ribbon, but perhaps you could think along those lines? I found a great website a few years ago, of a teenage girl who custom made some excellent quilts etc using people's ribbons. Wish I could remember the address! =\ It could have possibly been a great source of inspiration
My friends and I wanted to make some christmas ornament crafts tonight, to send out with our christmas cards.
Since they are going in an envelope, they have to lay kind of flat, and we want them to have a picture on them.
Any ideas?
Cut out a star and glue your photo in the center of it. Put a hole punch at the top and use glitter glue to accent it some. They turn out really cute that way.
(((hugs)))
Do you display them? Make them part of the holiday decorations? Tuck them away? Throw them out unopened?
We hang them up along our entry stairway to decorate the area.
What do you do with them after Christmas is over?
We keep all the ones that have pictures of loved ones in a box and the rest are used for next year's Christmas crafts.
It's a good question: After you enjoy them or display them in your home what to do with them?
I've seen some people use them as Christmas tags for gifts for the next year. You can buy serrated edge scissors so you can cut out different shapes like a star or a snowflake.
I too keep the really nice photo cards. They can go in an album. The good family ones are nice to keep.
Also people make ornaments out of them too. Like you said they are great for next year's Christmas crafts.
Have fun!
