A girl Card maybe? " Thank you for helping us win our championship. The 3 of us really suck without the help of the zebras, and David Stern says thanks also. Man, the Hawks almost got us, that Joe Johnson is something, but they are nothing without the help of the zebras. We love you Dick Barvetta.

I wanted to buy my boyfriend a Boston Celtics sweatshirt for Christmas, i was wondering where the best place to get one is. I didn't really want to go online to buy one because i'd have to use my parents card and stuff (im 15). So any stores that i could go to? Something i could find at most malls? Preferably under $40. Thanks!

Ok so I got my boyfriend Celtics tickets for Christmas. I know he's really going to like them because he's wanted to go to a game for a while. The only problem is I dropped a good amount of money on them and shopping for everyone else kind of wiped out my funds. So what can I get him to wrap the tickets with that isn't too expensive. Please no picture/picture frame ideas because I did something like that for his birthday a few weeks ago. I'm thinking something in the $10ish range.
I just don't want to give him a card and put the tickets in it. I want to wrap them with something. Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I don't mean to come off bit-chy but really keeping it to the 10ish range would be appreciative. Celtics shirts and hats are more than that. =(
Music cd or movie dvd case. Wrap it up and he will be very surprised when he looks inside.
Merry Christmas to all those in R&P, or Happy Holidays if you don't celebrate christmas. I hope every thing has gone well for you over the holidays
Now for the fun part:
1.What presents did you get?
2.What presents did you get for others?
3.Did you get a Real or Fake tree? Perhaps no tree?
4.What did you eat for the holidays (or will eat..)?
5.Did you have a White Christmas/holiday?
6.Did you have any family over
7.And... what type of music did you listen to this christmas/holiday
My answers:
1. I got Zune money, gift card to fred meyer, Cobain Unseen (amazing book!), Daydream Nation, A Buddhist Lantern, a Japanese Painting, Tons of Candy, Shark Week dvd set, headphones, and something(some more things?) that didn't make it in the mail in time.
2. A foot jet massage thingym back massage thingy, pill box with celtic printing, REAL ancient irish stonecklaceace, and a celtic symbol ornament (you may now tornamentent better as JPJ' symbol).
3. Real, twas cheap too, my family always gets charlie brown trees... I love them
4. Thai Food for christmas eve XD, a mini buffet with salami, dip, crackers, bread, cookies, sugarplums, etc. and then a ham with scalloped potatoes arollsl's tonight.
5. YES! Its amazing too.... seattle usually doesn't get thick snow if any at all, but this year was different... probably about 6-10 inches deep.
6.No :( mom cant afford it.
7. Lots of fleetwood mac for some reason... and then lot of good christmas music.
1. Skiis, clothes, boots, music, movies, and a robe
2. Shoes (Dad), Lenox Christmas dishes (Mom), Kings of Leon hoodie (brother), and random/various gifts for friends and extended family.
3. Fake--we've had the same trees for about 8 years now. At least.
4. Spaghetti--this is the first year we didn't eat turkey. And I'm so happy! (Not a big fan of turkey).
5. No. I live in South Georgia. : / BUT! I'll be in West Virginia on Saturday for a week! There should be snow -there-!
6. Last night, yes. But today, we spent the day at my grandparents house.
7. I listened to various music that I normally listen to. My parents like to play Vanessa Williams Christmas album. And Billy Gillman's Christmas album (which they couldn't find this year >:) )
My parents and extended family have been giving me HEB gift cards for gifts during all gift-giving holidays since I moved out. I really appreciate the thought, but I'm getting $200 worth of groceries when I only spend about $20 a week (I'm a college student happily living off of ramen and sushi). Things have been like this for about a year, and now that christmas is coming up, I'm dreading rushing out and buying everyone presents while they're simply grabbing a gift card while they pay for their groceries. I don't want to seem ungrateful, I could just use the money elsewhere.
There is one thing that I really want, though, that is completely out of my price range. I found a beautiful, excellent quality celtic harp that I've wanted for about a year. It'll cost around $2900, and is way out of my price range. Is there a polite way to ask if your family could help pitch in to get the harp instead of the typical gift card?
tell them that story! that you only spend about $20 for groceries and all that money goes to waste, when you could put it towards something you've been wanting for a while.
A happy ending greets close of 2010 Olympics for Vancouver Games' CEO
VANCOUVER, B.C. — There were millions of words used to tell the stories of the 2010 Winter Olympics, but the best place to look for the truth was John Furlong's face.
As the chief executive officer of the Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee, he didn't just run the Games, he lived them.
In the early, glitchy days, his Irish eyes never smiled. The colour was gone from his cheeks, and the answer to the question of whether he was having any fun was a quiet and shaky "not really."
It was one of only two short replies he gave to questions during the Games, the other in response to a query about whether he had anything to say to the British press who had savaged the Olympics.
