I don't want to say the basic 'Thank you', but rather compose a letter wishing them a prosperous New Year, etc. Can anyone offer some kind words? I can't seem to compose anything good.
Happy New Year all!
Perhaps in the form of a blessing?
May the New Year bring you hope and enthusiasm about living...may you dream new dreams and climb to new heights.
May it bring you the joy of family, friends, shared love, and meaningful experiences.
May you be blessed in everything you undertake, and may everything you undertake be positive and fulfilling for you and others.
May you live in peace and cultivate relationships that add positive experiences to your life.
May you bless others and be blessed each day of 2007.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "Christmas Bells," recited from memory by Kim's 8 year old son, makes a wonderful video card ...
I LOVE Christmas cards because if you can't afford something big,you can buy a nice beautifully hand decorated Christmas card,I am going to get a beautiful Christmas card so family can sign it.
Yes we do. We usually individualize cards by writing a note in each of them to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
By the end of November, I have sent out 15 beautiful Christmas Cards. As a reply, I got e-cards (Christmas ones) . Is that the "new fashion"? Should I just sent e-cards from now on ? Maybe I'm missing something here !
None yet.
Some people send e-cards because they are trying to save money. If they have lost a job or are in danger of losing one or if they have some huge expenses in the family (kid in college etc) then it is understandable.
Then there are the cheapskates or people like me who just take things the easy way. LOL Plus there are the people who think and act green. Saves the environment the costs of the process and when multiplied over all the cards sent (or previously sent) that amount of cost is staggering for the planet.
Maybe you should send e-cards out to the people who send you e-cards too. You can still send your regular cards out to the others. That might be a nice compromise plan. Plus the e-cards can be very involved with songs and different cartoon visuals etc

It is an Ecard website where you can send a fantastic Christmas Ecard to your friends in Christmas. The ecard is so realistic that you can flip the Ecard to write your message behind.
I hate the thought of throwing these beautiful cards away, so I save them. But...I don't know what to do with them. Great suggestions needed. Thanks
I feel the same way. What I do is I use the front page as Christmas tags for next Christmas.
Some cards have a pretty border around the image on the front page. What I do is i cut out the pretty images whether it's a Christmas tree, a dove, an angel, etc. The pretty border will be your guide as to where you would cut it, whether it's a round border or square border. Punch a hole on top of the image and put a ribbon around it or tape it on the Christmas presents.
But before you cut out the front page image, check the back of the front page and make sure nobody wrote anything on it.
