I'm planning on giving my boyfriend's parents a beach trip for Christmas. I want to surprise them somehow, maybe with a homemade beach theme card and a peom or saying of some kind. Does anyone have any ideas or tips to help?

Not really, mostly what you'd get in the NH, but there are often cards with Santas in red tank & shorts on the beach or in the outback, or kangaroos with a Christmas hat and sunglasses, that kind of thing.

my husband and i live in florida and are moving in march. since this will be our last christmas by the beach, we wanted to do a christmas card there by the beach. what are some good ideas to do a good pic ?? we also have 3 dogs to take pics there also, but probably a separate pic. what would be a good saying to put on my husband and i card ??? please help soon- we are running out of time !! 2 years ago- our first christmas married, we did a pic at the beach with us both wearing red shirts and santa hats. i would like it to be different this year. thanks !!
We are in Florida too and we took our Christmas card picture on the beach! We all wore white shirts (like a polo shirt) with jeans and no shoes or socks! It turned out super cute! Oh! And CVS photo center has a cute card design.. Its Palm trees with Christmas lights on them... it makes a cute border around the beach photo for a card! Have fun!

if you're moving somewhere cold(er) then for your cards you could stand on the beach in your winter gear . . . coats, hats, gloves, skis, whatever . . . and it can be a christmas card but also kind of an informal announcement of your move.
I live near Pensacola beach, but we've taken pictures for our Christmas card out there before. We were thinking about taking them in a cotton field down the road. Any ideas for a catchy phrase to put on the card if we take them in the cotton field? Any other ideas for pictures?
As far as catchphrases for your card, how about "Wishing You Bales of Fun for the Holidays!" or "The Touch, the Feel of Christmas" (a play on the cotton slogan "the touch, the feel of cotton"). :)
You've probably taken photos of you and your family with palm trees in the background or at the beach. You could decorate a palm tree (more than likely a fake one) with Christmas ornaments - that would be a real eye-catcher on a card!
