it was very realistic and artistic, of the Virgin Mary, holding the infant Jesus, in the arms of the egyptian Sphinx, as they rested on the flight from Egypt. Can anyone tell me the title, and/or the artist, it was quite magical.
I have never seen the card, but it does sound like Mary and infant Jesus could trust their Sphinx.

Best thing is to get to make it known what you do. By small town shows and county fairs. Also make friends with a small town shop owner who might let you sell them at their shop. By sister in law does scrap-booking and she sells her stuff at a local drug store. So be daring and try asking someone if they are willing to help.
Okay I am about to make our yearly Christmas cards. With the baby coming this is the dogs last year on the cards. So this is their chance to shine.
I have 3 photo slots, one for a big photo (the two together) and then two small slots (one for a photo of each dogs, the card says Happy Howlidays)
So I need to choose one photo in each group can you help me with that?

Ben – the man who binned a Lowry...
A sketch by Lowry would sell for thousands today but it wasn’t always so.
Even the artist thought some of his work so bad that he gave unwanted drawings to his milkman to throw in the bin.
Ben Timperley, now 72, delivered milk for almost 30 years when Lowry lived at The Elms on Stalybridge Road, Mottram.
He regularly saw him painting but, like many, didn’t realise the value of his work until years after his death.
"I just thought my children could paint better than him," he said.
The former milkman, of War Hill Farm, Mottram, is one of the figures depicted in a mural which has been painted in the style of Lowry on an inside wall of Mottram Community Centre. The picture of people Lowry knew gathered at the town’s crossroads was created by Sheffield-based artist Peter Wroe and was unveiled at the centre on Saturday.
