For Christmas my daughter got me 3 computer games--Lord of th Rings, Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth and Eragon. She also got me a 3D graphics card to make sure the games would play. I've installed it twice, which should be an easy thing to do, and it still doesn't work. It might just be something small I forgot to do, but I want to play my games and so I came here for help. It's a 3D Fuzion graphics card.
You do not say if it's an APG or PCI. I assume it fit properly in the correct slot on your system's Motherboard?
If so did the drivers CD install ok without errors?
And this may sound stupid to ask but did you plug the monitor into the new cards output and not the one that probably is built on to the motherboard?
One other thing to check if as I am assuming your video adapter that you were useing was built on the mother board, then you may have to disable it to get the new card to work.
To do this you have to enter your system BIOS setup.
To do this there is a key you have to press and hold down as soon as you turn the system on (usually the "Delete" key, but not always) it says when you boot up to enter setup press {this key}
Once you are in the system BIOS you will have to find the correct page and disable on-board video.
This is different depending on the brand of the mother board and what BIOS they used.
Check the manufactures website for details. If it's a OE PC, Dell, HP....etc... Then go to there website if it's not then you need to know the make and model# of the motherboard then check there website or the manual if you have it.
Be careful not to make changes other than this in the BIOS, and if you have problems after the change then go back and reverse it.
:-)

That isn't a card. It's onboard graphics.
We are having a family reunion at Christmas time and the winning dessert gets a gift card. I want something that is cute, cleaver, and tastes good. I was thinking something standing or "3D" would be neat. Like a Christmas tree or snowman figure. I am just not sure what to use.
You could make a Yule Log. You make it from a sponge cake filled with strawberry whipped cream and rolled up like a jelly roll. Decorate the cake with chocolate icing so it looks like a log. The decorations can be whatever you want to use. This is a picture of one I made with a little mouse on a toad stool. It makes a nice center piece and is delicious to eat. It could also be chocolate cake with a caramel filling or a spice cake with cream cheese filling....

Glasses-free 3D HDTV in five years?
There are two distinct developing technologies for glassless 3DTV — the 3D video codec and the plasma/LCD display — that have to merge to create a new autostereoscopic 3D ecosystem.
Current 3D is encoded using an extension of MPEG-4 H.264 AVC called MVC (Multiview Video Codec). MVC fuses two nearly simultaneous HD "views," one for the left eye and one for the right. Overlaying these two synced "views" using active shutter glasses creates the perception of 3D depth.
In development is an extension of the MVC extension called MVD (Multiview Video Depth), also called 3DV. MVD adds extra data for additional "depth" layers and multiple views (probably more than a dozen) to create a multi-level stereoscopic image that you won't need glasses to view.

3D HDTVs have just gone on sale, but they may be as obsolete as a gasoline-powered car in five years.
The powers that be are already working on glasses-less 3D, aka autostereoscopic 3D , with standards expected to be set in around three years with another two years or so for commercialization. So we could have 3D with no glasses by Christmas 2015? We're in!
Here's how it might work:
