Kids Birthday Invites

I belong to a moms & tots group. I would like to post info about my daughters birthday party on the website. I want to know whats the best way to describe it, I will be giving them the invitations personally but I need to post online to make sure the moms know about the event.
The party's theme is Elmo and ww will have it like a carnival with games & etc.
Please give your ideas I will need your help! Thanks

Well first off you should tell who your kid is. then the time, date, place, what to wear,
then a summary of what youll be doing in this case elmo themed carnival.
put in something like "get ready to party till your purple,or red, because it s elmo themed!
put YOUR name and phone and how old the kid is turning

I just found out that a little girl had a party and did not invite my child. We had had this same little girl to every birthday party my child had for the last four years, shouldn't it be reciprocal?
I always have my child invite the kids who invited her. Am I wrong?
Oh these are third graders
I should add I am pretty good friends with the mom and the child is one of my childs bests friends. My child is deeply hurt. At my childs birthday we even invited her little sister. And my daughters friend has come to our house for numerous playdates and only been asked once over to their house. If this was a child who my child was not that close to I would not have a problem, but it is one of her closest friends.

I would let my child decide who they want to invite. And leave it at that.

My son goes to daycare once a week (just for exposure to other kids), and his birthday (5th) is August 29th...for reasons of vacation and other planning issues, his kids birthday party is being held Aug 18th. He will be in daycare monday July 23rd, but then wont be back again until Aug 3rd. I need the head count for the reservations by the 11th of Aug. Should i sent out the invites this monday, or after he returns to daycare? Ive only ever had family parties with him, and it didnt matter, this is the first year hes having a party with only kids, so its new to me. Thanks!

7/23 is too early- people will forget. Hand out the invitations when he returns to school, and make sure you talk to the parents and give them the invitations.

My daughter is in the 6th grade i am inviting the entire 5th and 6th grade class, i am sending the invites through their book bags at school. Her party will be on October 27. i don't want to send the invites too early then everyone forgets (children's attention span is so short), but not to late where people don't have time to prepare.
WHEN should i send the invitations home?
wow, reading way too much into this bookbag thing, sorry, but its not that serious.... my children and i attend a small private school (only about 15 to a class), all the kids have pretty much been going there since preschool, most of the parents know each other really well, almost like family, and that is how 'we' have always sent invites. there are a couple of new kids that i will personally invite w/parents, just because they don't know me yet, and want them to feel comfortable. just wanted to know when to send out...thanks
...and i never said that I would be personally going through all these kids book bags, i just said sending via book bag, teachers have always been great about helping me.

For my 13th birthday party, im having a hotel party (my moms going to stay with us.) I really want to invite 6 kids, but she will only let me invite 3. How can I convince her to let me invite 6???

You prob can't cause mom's are super stubborn. But I would ask her why she is concerned about the extra 3 kids. Then help reassure her that you understand why she is worried and you will try to make sure that none of the bad things she is worried about happen.
