So this friend is really old. He's even a dad. We aren't like "I love you" close so what should I write in the card? The card is one of those humorous cards BTW.

My s/o is turning 40. For his birthday I am making fun signs and cards to put on his car and around the house. He is a chemist and I am not, so I am in some need of help in this area. Any ideas on how to say Happy 40th Birthday! In way that a scientist or math person would find entertaining? I appreciate any and all suggestions.

try and combine the words from the symbols of elements from periodic table (there are not the precise letters that you need, but maybe you can find a way around, or do another wish than "happy birthday")

or you can draw a sequence of amino acids, that would spell "happy birthday"

My friend's 22nd birthday is this week, and I got a card that says "How could I forget the birthday of someone as nice as you!" to go with the make-a-bear I made for her (here's his pic: http://bpa.ed.isu.edu/harrshel/IMG_0253. JPG) Couldn't find any humorous cards that fit her. Don't know what else to write. The bear is mushy, so I don't want to card to be. I do have a crush on her, but don't feel comfortable writing that! Oh, and I'm terrible at writing poems!

Suggestions appreciated!
I forgot to mention, this girl has taken the time to build up my confidence around her and other girls, as well as help me get over my shyness, and I'm greatful to her for that.

I hope you like this poem and I think it is perfect for your situation. Sounds like you have a great friend. Have fun on her birthday and it sounds like you are a great friend too. :)
