Custom Birthday Cards

I have been trying and trying to do this but I don't know if it's possible. I am trying to make a birthday card using Microsoft works word processor. I paste a picture to it, but it doesn't let me put text onto the picture. Only around it. How can I get the text ON the picture. Or if you know of any better way to create a professional looking card without having to buy photo shop or anything, I would appreciate it!

You probably have the text box set to "In line with text", which only allows you to set it on either side of the picture.
To get the words over the picture, you have to right click on the outlining border of the text box and click "Format Text Box".
Once a small window opens up, click "Layout".
Choose the option "In Front of Text" - this should make the text box mpve over the rest of the text on your document, as it seems your picture is set to "In line with text".
Move your text box in the desired location on the picture :)

I want to send someone a regular paper birthday card ( not an E card) that plays a specific song when opened ( "what I got" by sublime). there has got to be somewhere that I can have a custom card made right?

Yes, there is a way!

You can order or find at a scrapbook store a "memory button" that has the capability of recording 10-30 seconds or so. So, you won't get the whole song but you will get some of it.

So, you can create the card of your choice and then attach the button to the card. You can cover the button with matching paper so that it is somewhat hidden.

I don't know of any free sites. I know a site where you can send out cards for approximately a buck each including postage. Hope this helps!

We are wanting to make a holographic birthday cards.

These are the cards that look like one picture at one angle and another picture at another angle.
