Birthday Wishes Cards

I never know what to write to people when it comes to birthday cards!! Any ideas!!??
My friend is:
- turning 25
- graduating university
- getting married
- her and her fiansay bought a condo
so i want to write a heartfilling message but i want to keep it short and sweet...any ideas

First of all, excuse me for being a little selfish and self centered but does it seem like males get more birthday cards from Insurance companies and financial institutions than females. I don't know, maybe they think it is awkward or something. Whats the deal here? Im missing something.

Yes, you are right. Females get birthday cards once a year, but males get birthday cards 3 - 4 times a year...

A friend of mine sent me a birthday card in which it said, "Happy Birthday". I am writing a letter to her and started it by saying:


Thank you for your birthday wishes."

Is this sentence right? (Thank you for your birthday wishes)

Yes, that sounds fine. You could also say "Thanks for your birthday card - I had a great day". "Thanks for thinking of me on my Birthday - it meant a lot", etc.
