I always buy Blue Mountain Arts cards for everyones birthday. They are the most inspirational and thoughtful cards I've ever found! I've only ever been able to find them at the truck stop near my house and it closed down 3 weeks ago. I googled it and they DO have e-cards but they're not the same. Does anyone know anywhere else I can find them? Thanks!! Peace & Love!!

Here's a quick paper craft project that will allow you to use up those ribbon remnants! This project took about an hour to make. A great ...
In computer class at my school, we learned how to make birthday cards without using Clip art, but I forgot. My moms birthday is tomorrow and I would appreciate it if anyone told me how or gave me tips! I know that the first thing you do is click on the Office Button...... that's all I remember. Help!
If you have Publisher, I would rather use that.

My mother and I own a fantastic birthday party business. We have always thought it would be a good franchise for anyone wanting to work out of the home. How would we get our business to franchise? The parties include a costumed character, a birthday card art project, interactive story times, and themed games. We are based in OC, California. It is very successful here, and we want to get it out to the world, while making a couple bucks. How do we franchise this?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
you need to be clear and specific what makes your existing business sucessful (which it sounds like it is). Take that an convert it into a business plan - focussing on what distinguishes your party business from another. Think about how you can use it to market and sell your franchise to prospective customers (franchisees). BEFORE you share this magic formula with anyone - get a good lawyer to help prepare the contracts - that is key. The contract should be clear on what you offer (methodology, training, supplies, expertise, support, etc etc) and what you require in return as a franchise. ALso let the lawyer help you register your business / brand / trade name as soon as possible. Lastly - to help get some customers - i recommend you apply your own ideas to a few more areas/cities and see if you can transplant it. IF that works - you have all the more reason to franchise.

I need ideas on making my own greeting cards (birthday cards, holiday cards etc.) I want to also use my own art on the cards. What is an easy and cheap way to make greeting cards? What type of materials etc. And also, do you have any ideas for Valentine's day cards? Thank you in advance!
Not long ago I signed up for a Hallmark Crown card and I subscribed to Current's catalog. Both of these card companies send me catalogs all year round and I get tons of great ideas from them! Even the trip to your local card shop, Target or Walmart aisle will lead you to hundreds of ideas. Sometimes I spot a word or a phrase that kick off an idea for example "How do I love you? Let me count the ways..." I thought of using a monkey on the front, then on the inside it would read: 1 banana, 2 banana, 3 banana, 4 and so on... Greeting cards are wonderful being that they are so catchy and creative. You can really have fun! I am working on a post for my website [erikhomemade.typepad.com] (it's almost done except for the photos) where we used an origami elephant stuck to the front. On the inside it says: Don't forget! But you could say: See, I remembered, or something...
For more ideas, try Hallmark.com or Current.com For my cards and the cards we will be using for the website Card of the Month, I like to use cardstock or ready made cardstock cards. Nothing is worse than a flimsy card...even though it's the thought that counts, it is also a reflection on you and often people like to save handmade cards. As far as materials go, the sky is the limit! I am in a mood for recycled materials-old newspaper, wrapping paper, etc. People really like to see what you can make from very little or nothing.
Look around! Good Luck Happy Girl, and HAVE FUN!
