40th Birthday Party Invitations

My mom and I are planning a 40th birthday party for my brother and a Housewarming for his new place. Is there a website that I can go to that will let me design my own invitations? If not do you know of a cheap program that will let me design them? I dont have alot of money and the ink alone is a drain on my pocketbook.

PrintShop is a cheap program, only buy it if you are printing it from home though, unless a newer upgrade allows you to change the doc to a pdf, most print shops don't have this program, therefore you cannot easily reproduce your beautiful creation. Or you can make a custom invitation using different paper stocks & stamps (kind of like scrapbooking) than all you have to do is a basic printout on your computer printer, using whatever programs you have available. Voila! a custom, made from the heart, invitation!

and if you can't find pink envelope just fold paper over and staple with address on it place stamp and mail
Have some fun with it go to dollar store and find all kinds of pink stuff glasses plates napkins tablecloths.

I need to make up a flier for my dad's 40th birthday party. I need everything from wording to colors. It's going to be a barbeque/cook-out type thing and I'm not sure how to incorporate that idea because I personally think that having pictures of hamburgers, hot dogs, and a grill on a birthday invitation is quite corny. I don't think I have any pictures of him as a baby/child, so that idea is out of the way. I'm not sure what else to do, any suggestions?

You could make it in the shape of a big 4-0 and have his photo inside the 0.
