1st Birthday Invite

I'm looking for a funny poem for my daughters first birthday invitation. I've looked on line and found a few that are nice but I'm looking for something funny talking about babies and poopy diapers...all the good stuff they did when they were little babies. Any ideas? My daughters name is Arianna

My nephew's birthday is in mid July and we are planning a simple blue themed party. I am trying to come up with a rhyme for the invitations (that I will be making) that tells everyone to wear something blue. Some of the details of the party are:

It's at a park
He's turning 1
His name is Jacob
All in attendance must wear something blue

Can someone please help! I really appreciate it as I am racking my brain and can't come up with anything. Thanks alot.

Okay, we are going to have our family there but I guess my question is should it just be the family that is in our daughter's life? She has 2 grandparents that haven't been a part of her life (one who has only seen her a few times, never calls about her) another who was excited during pregnancy, then after birth almost acts like they dont know that our child exists. Should they still be invited since they are grandparents?

I also think you should invite those Grandparents. It sounds like a situation that I have been in. If they are not invited it will just be an excuse on why they are not in your child's life. They will put the blame on you! Invite them and see if they show up.

For the people I am inviting it will be alot of my friends,a cousin,my mom,my aunt and uncle and their 2 kids. None of my other family is allowed there and I am not sending them invites.


I was wondering if it's alright to invite a certain person. We went to highschool together but weren't friends and now we talk online ALOT and consider ourselves friends I guess but we never have hung out in person,is it alright to send her an invite to my son's 1st birthday?
Well she's not like that.

It's a nice thought but it might be awkward for your friend. You will be busy and not have lots of 1-1 time, so I would leave the face to face meeting for another time.
