Any 1st Birthday ideas outside the home in Atlanta area?

My daughter's 1st birthday will be in August and I'm trying to plan a birthday party outside the home (We live in an apartment). We're expecting many out of town family visitors and there will be more adults than kids. We're expecting approximately a party of 20 people. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Keep it simple. Your baby won't realize what's really happening. To her, it will just a lot going on. Depending on how many kids and the age range, Little Gym is a fun place to go if you have a bunch of 1 to 5 or 6 year olds. Monkey Joes is fun for older kids. I would say 4 and up. But for 2 or 3 kids I would just go to a park or something free. You are having alot of out of town guest you may want to try something touristy. The Aquarium had alot of nice restaurants and you can see the fish while you are there. I took my daughter there around 14 mos and she loved it. I would keep it simple though for sure and plan for a big blow out for the 3rd bithday party. Good luck!

Does anyone have 1st birthday ideas?

Please share ideas for a 1 year old boys birthday. Attendance would primarily be adults. Probably 2 - 4 other infants between 4-8 months of age.

We are currently thinking Rock Band party, as my son loves the drums, or going old school and just having a lunch at mcdonalds etc.

any ideas that work with infants are welcome.
My son doesn't watch much TV so he doesn't really love any TV characters.

Mostly he loves to bang on my rock band drum kit, and we bought him his own drum with little drum sticks.

Simple is best. A kid who's only 12 months old won't have a clue about what this is all about, and the change in routine may upset him. Keep it small, keep it low key. A picnic in the back yard or a park is good if the weather allows. Otherwise, have the friends over, and have a nice dinner, but forget candles, streamers, noise makers, etc. You can have a cake if you want, but expect your son to wear it as much as eat it.

I'm looking for 1st birthday ideas. I really want a hello kitty 1st birthday theme but cant find it with 1st?

we are having my daughters 1st birthday at a pizza place because it is in November and it would be to cold outdoors. Any suggestions to make it special? I'm also looking for a theme that states 1st birthday. I want hello kitty but I cant find hello kitty 1st birthday. Does anyone know if this exists?

I've never seen a Hello Kitty 1st Birthday stuff, guess a regular HK B day kit will work, Maybe u can bring lots of Sanrio/Hello Kitty merchandises to the party. Target, Wal*Mart, Kmart and Sanrio Stores sells HK Bday merch.

any good 1st birthday ideas for a baby girl?

were having a birthday party next month at the park for my daughter and i need some good ideas. im thinking a cupcake theme or a tea party theme, but im not sure. what type of food, birthday cake or decorations should i do?

You could do a flower and/or insect (ladybugs?) theme since it's at a park. I think your ideas are good too. I personally think the cupcake theme is cuter. I found some links you might be able to use...

At Sams's club they have "cupcake cakes". They are in the shape of a cake, and decorated like a cake, but they're actually cupcakes. That would be cute for the cupcake theme. Walmart has really cute cakes too. As for food I would just do pizza, it's easy, you don't have to worry about keeping it hot or cold, and there is easy cleanup.

My daughter will be turning 1 in mid September, and I've been thinking about this a lot too. I'm pretty sure I'm going to ditch the whole "theme" idea and just go with pink and purple or some other colors. It can still be cute and memorable without the theme. She doesn't know what's gong on anyway. That should save me some money and I'll be able to spend it on food and decorations.

Good luck and have fun!

Has anyone got great engagement and 1st birthday party ideas?

Hey all i want my engagement party to be special as we are going away to get married and alot of people wont be coming. Id love ideas on easy food and how to keep people mingling things like that its also our babys 1st birthday party the same day do any ideas there as well will be a great help thanks all

If your going away to get married, I assume to the beach? So if that is so, have like a beach theme party! Then you can have wedding stuff that is beach themed, and also luau party items for your child's 1st bday party! Mingle them together.. then you can just grill out, and have a casual party!
