Unique Birth Announcement

We are expecting our second son at the end of November. We decided to name him Samuel, with the middle and last initials being I and M. My first (now 2 and a half) gets a major kick out of telling everyone that his little brother's name will be "Sam-I-M," because he is a huge Dr. Seuss fan.

We wanted to have fun with this, and send out the birth announcement in the form of a Suessian rhyme. Can anyone help me get started, or give me any ideas?

The easiest way is to pull out a couple of your son's favorite stories and start substituting words and phrases to fit the occasion. It will be easy once you get started.

When my son was born two years ago, his announcements were one of a kind (seed packets with his picture). Now we are expecting again and need something original that will wow the recipients.

I think a magnet would be cute! That way all your family and friends can put it on their fridge and see your new bundle of joy! Congrats!!!! :o)

by far, it has to be baby cachet. their website is http://www.babycachet.com - look for the pop-ups or any cards by meri meri or up with paper. they are beautiful! they have lots of 3d cards. i love to shop here for all my kids' invitations. good luck!!!
