Birthday Announcement

My twin boys are turning one soon and they are having a birthday party. Here is my problem. We are stationed in another country, so the only people that would be able to come are our friends here. Should i send Birthday invitations or more like an announcement? We both come from HUGE families. I would feel dumb sending them an invitation knowing they can’t fly to Ireland. Any ideas would be great!

I think it would be fine, kind of like a YAY our twins are finally ONE!! type deal, it wouldn't make them feel weird, it is just like sending wedding "invitations" to people you know can not make it, but you want them to feel included...

My main guess is about $40-70, probably no more then that. Guy above me is way wrong, some players don't even make a million dollars in a year.

Is it possible to send automatic birthday notifications through yahoo group calendars?

You can follow the following procedure and make a "birthday reminder" of your own group members by using the calendar section of your group.

a. go to your Group Homepage
b. From the left-hand side go to the "calendar" section of your group.
c. Go to the "events list" section.
d. one by one add the names and the dates of the birthdays of the members
e. You can add repeating reminders for them. (they are sent to your group every year)

I'm a preschool teacher and need to make an announcement for one of my students. Any cute ideas? She's turning 3. I was thinking of starting it like this:
Guess who's turning 3...
Any cute ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Maybe say like "Raise your hand if your two! Ok, now raise your hand if your three! Well, today somebody in our class is turning three! [insert name here], why don't you come up so we can sing you happy birthday!"

My Mom wants a 60th birthday party. The party will actually be a BIG party with all her first cousins invited (there are 47 of them living locally). My Mom has their email addresses but not home.

Perfectly fine as long as nobody accidentally replies to her.
