Birth Announcement Card

are there any online printers that will print your design/picture on card stock rather than regular photo paper? i want to do our birth announcements with a photo from a design that i created on 5x7 card stock. any thoughts?

You can get color copies on card stock from Staples. Go to www.staplescopycenter.com and you can fill out a form to email with the picture to your nearest Staples store. They do an amazing job and it's not too expensive.

Did you send out birth announcement cards? When did you send them out?

we sent out announcements at 2 wks with both of our kids. it took that long for me to be able to get a good open-eye picture that i wanted to send out to show them off to everyone!

i visited CVS photocenter but it is coming to almost 1$ for a card! anything lesser than that?? any suggestions?

My baby is due 11/26 and I'm one of those people who send out their Christmas cards the Friday after Thanksgiving. So my questions is do you think it's tacky to send a birth announcement and a Christmas card as one card? It probably will be December by the time I get them out. Did anyone do this?

I saw one someone did and it was cute. It said something like "The Jones have a special new gift just in time for Christmas...Name" I don't think it is tacky, or you could just include it inside the card. Either way it is fine.
